My wife and I had breakfast at Louise's this morning. I usually add some hot sauce to my biscuits and gravy but the B&G here was so perfectly seasoned and zesty that I put the hot sauce down for the first time ever. My wife had pancakes and said the were good, but she has had the Park Cafe and... More

Good food and quaint setting. I got chocolate milk and French toast and my husband got the pancakes with strawberry topping. The grits were amazing- must get!! They were creamy with what tasted like gravy mixed in them. I added cheese on top but all was very tasty and filling! Will definitely eat here again next time passing through!

We ate breakfast here several times during our visit to Black Mountain, NC. The people were quite pleasant and the menu had many tasty choices. Try the biscuits and gravy for a lovely, quick meal. The kids liked the pancakes very much and the homemade jams are really good as well. You order cafeteria style, but they bring the food... More

I've been here only this one time, for a late Sat breakfast. I'm often in town for weekends and wish they were opened past 2pm. You order at the counter and the line gets a little jumbled due to the small room (it's in an old house) where the line congregates. The food was great. My mother really enjoyed the... More

Had breakfast at Louise's on a Friday morning, not too busy at the time we were there. The coffee is self serve, but the only cups were on the highest shelf, barely could reach and as a coffee lover, the smaller cups seemed like they were for tea, not coffee. Then the coffee urn was empty. Had to wait for... More

The terms "fresh, local & artisan" seem overused but, in this case, they truly apply. There's everything from breakfast classics, such as bacon & eggs, pancakes and french toast, but also some surprises such as the unique breakfast burrito. What most blew me away was the grits - the most unique and best I've ever had!!!

Liked the vibe here. Sitting on the patio with dogs enjoying a breeze made the trip here worth it. Good service but keep in mind you order and pay in advance which isn't a problem for us. Grilled pimento sandwich and Mater sandwich both derlish. Generous portion of fruit. Waters in mason jars. Just cute, cozy and comfortable.

We started here for breakfast. It was a great choice, quality thoughtful good done well. I had the curry chicken salad, it was great. My daughters had blueberry waffles and pancakes. The vanilla syrup is really nice and the whipped cream atop the waffle was perfect. We will definitely return.

Absolutely delicious! We ate breakfast at this adorable place. We had no idea what to expect, but the food was to die for. We loved how laid back it was there. We were stuffed after leaving and ready to start our day!
