After a few breweries, it was good to have some food. The mexican food here was good and the prices were right, too.

Our waiter was super nice and explained that the kitchen was way behind. But not only did it take almost 45 minutes for him to take our orders, he left off the order for one person in our party. The food was tasty but it didn't make up for the slow slow service. Also, one person in our party was... More

This place was mobbed when we arrived, which is always a good sign for a restaurant! We sat out on the back patio, which overlooks a small brook with shady trees in abundance. Service was a little slow, or I would have given it a five.

We started off on a bad foot - it took close to 15 minutes to take our drink order & that was only after my husband flagged someone down & asked "can we get a server". They were only about half full when we sat down so it wasn't like they were that busy. She ended up taking our drink... More

Over the course of the last 8 years when we visited Black Mountain, we always find ourselves at this restaurant. It is usually crowded, but not difficult to get a table within a few minutes unless you are with a large party. The menu is typical Mexican fare with the usual variety of selections. With a full bar, you can... More

We like the atmosphere of this stand alone restaurant that is often packed with tourists and locals alike. The portions are always generous and the food nicely prepared. There is a full service bar. Try it. You will like it.

The food is okay but not spectacular. The service was marginal: seldom checking back in. The guacamole is bland and tastes as if if almost no avocado was in it.

This is one of our absolute favorite restaurants in Black Mountain. The Chori Pollo is not to be missed. The wait staff is friendly, the atmosphere is excellent. Two thumbs up!

Met a client for lunch. She suggested the place as she was local to the area. Good choice. Was happy to have a reservation as Ole was packed at lunch time. As requested, we got a prime table outside by the greenway and creek (see photos). Service was fast, professional, and friendly as provided by Ashlie. I ordered the chimichanga,... More
