It has alcohol, ice cream & cookies, pizza plus, and then an arcade or miniature golf. The staff was quite helpful.

Outstanding pizza. Counter service. French fries were great and the cookies. Best pizza I had in a long time. Very accommodating to our large group. Will return.
There aren't too many options in Beech Mountain for food so expect this place to be busy but it's a fun spot with live music, putt putt golf, ice cream and of course beer and pizza. It is a good spot to take the family...or just carry out after a long day on the mountain.More
I paid almost $60 for two 14" pizzas, and one was plain cheese! The other was buffalo chicken and it was a sad excuse for a "specialty" pizza. My 20 year old daughter said the Lowe's Foods brand frozen buffalo pizza is much better, and...you can get one of those for about 6 bucks. The quality of the pizza we received (takeout order) was like what you find in a fast food joint at a gas station. Seriously. I wish I had taken pictures of them. They looked NOTHING like what the website photos portray. They were small and sparsely topped. The huge,over-baked crusts don't make them any better, either. Take my advice, save your hard earned money and skip this place!!More
The Philly Cheesesteak was average and expensive, The piece of cheesecake was much better and HUGE, but still a bit expensive. The best thing about the place was the ambiance. It was nicely decorated and they had a piano player playing.
This place has delicious pizza, but the line to order moves incredibly slow. We decided to place a take out order instead, called it in and waited in the car. However, when I went in to pick it up after the 30 minutes I was...told it would be I was then told I had to wait in line to pick up the order. I waited for 10 minutes in a line that didn't move at all in that time only to see someone else go right to the pick up area and announce she had a call in order. When that worked for her, I did the same. The staff needs to get on the same page on how things work around there.More
Yesterday, I asked a friend of mine to recommend a pizza place near Beech Mountain and near our condo. He recommended The Brlck Oven. He told me the pizza was good but very expensive. I had a take out menu that listed everything but the...prices. I called in my order for one small veggie pizza. I was afraid to order anything else and nearly fell over, after the clerk told me the pizza was $28.20. I figured it must be a huge pie and the best on earth. When I opened it up at home and ate it, I found it was neither it was just 6 small slices and it tasted about the same as Costco and Sam's Club pizza. Being that the Brick Oven is the only pizza place on the mountain they can charge whatever the traffic will bear. So either buy a large frozen pizza at Food Lion in Banner Elk for about 6.95 .or get a small fresh baked one at The Brick Oven on the mountain for $25.95 plus tax and a SERVICE FEE on top of it.More
The pizza was really good! The cashier was very rude and not helpful, but the cooks in the back were super friendly. The beer was expensive! $12 for 2 cans. The kids didn’t get to play in the arcade while we waited for food because...the change machine was out of order and the rude cashier told my kids they had no quarters. So next time, we will opt for carry out pizza.More
The restaurant itself if really cool and worth a visit. However, the pizza was subpar (it did not have enough cheese on it for my liking) and overpriced.
The workers are unenthused about having a job, the cooks in the back are busy cutting up and cracking jokes with the female cashiers so you might have to stand there for a little bit until they want to acknowledge you. On with the food,...We ordered a two meat large (8 slices versus 6), the cheese pizza is $19.99 and then toppings were another $4. Cheesy garlic bread was $9.99 and literally came out cold. A large choc chip cookie, two very small scoops of ice cream and 1 piece of Tiramisu cake was $20ish. One round of putt putt for 2 people was $20ish. The putt putt area was fun but run down and there were leaves and pine needles everywhere on the putting area. There are not a lot of options on Beech Mtn for pizza and we were hungry by the time we left Land of Oz. Personally, I think it is way overpriced and overrated, but that is my experience. The staff do not wear masks, nor are the patrons asked to do so. That seems to be more common with the newer strands of covid coming out. So, we spent over $80 and just had the attitude we are on vacation. Would I come again? Not even if the prices were halved.More
Who ever heard of a small town pizza that costs $28 and tastes like store bought frozen pizza. This has to be the worst value in the state of North Carolina and maybe the whole nation
A bit expensive ($50+ for 2 pizzas), but pizza was REALLY good (we just had 1 pepperoni and 1 Formaggio (4 cheese) pizza and they both were very tasty). There was a live band playing outside the evening that we came for a take out...order and that was a really nice surprise. We enjoyed listening to them while our pizza was being prepared. They were very limited on their take out menu (only pizza, pasta, and calzones) so that was a bit odd, but luckily we only wanted pizza so we were fine. Overall, it was good.More
We love to ride up on the mountain and eat at the Brick Oven. The folks running the place are always friendly and the pizza is some of the best in this area!
So what happens when you staff a pizza joint with uncaring and unmotivated young people, and top it off without any "adult" supervision at all? You get way overpriced pizza and ignored when you walk up to place an order. Literally there were "kids" standing...around talking, and even turning their backs on me while when I approached the cash register. I had to "ask" for someone to take my order. I know covid has thinned the labor pool, but surely one could find a responsible person to make a hack at supervision. I wonder, are uncaring people attracted to work here, or does the environment teach good people to immediately not give a crap. $34 for a 14" pizza, one Heineken and chocolate chip cookie. Hmm. Pizza dive on a mountain.More
Nice little pizza place in Roan Mtn, TN. Pizza was excellent. The business building could use an upgrade though...
