We arrived around 5pm, on a Monday - many in the area closed. Seating was immediate. Service was good, although our waitress was a bit late in tending the table late in the meal. But not a significant issue. 3 had crab cakes, 1 had scallops, all meals were excellent. Would not hesitate to go back.

They were a bit shorthanded, but our waitress was very efficient and served us well. The dinner (Red Snapper) was great and we sat on the covered porch on the waterfront - fantastic. If in Beaufort, we will definitely eat here again.

Dined outside on a Wednesday night. Great local seafood and yummy bread served. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nice, sophisticated atmosphere, but kid friendly. Kids menu available.

We had visited for lunch on our last trip to the area. We enjoyed the lunch better than the dinner and dinner was significantly more expensive. I will say that the selections for teenagers (over 12, under "Adult") were not that great. We had to ask them to make a burger for our son, who couldn't find anything he liked... More

We went to brunch there and had a great experience. Everyone from the hostess to the busboys were friendly and competent. Our waitress Stephanie could not have been better. The decor is light and gives a beachy feel without being cheesy. Of course the views are great, right on the water. While this isn't a really dressy place - felt... More

It seemed as if the staff had a very high opinion of themselves and the #1 restaurant in Beaufort, but I did not see it that way. Our server was definitely not playing her "A" game that day. The dinner salads seemed as if they were portion controlled. The soft shell crabs were nicely sized but were served luke warm.

Based on Trip Advisor reviews, we made an advance reservation here for dinner... The setting is right on the water front of Beaufort and we were given an inside ( still 92 degrees outside) water view table... From the hostess to the "seater" we were welcomed warmly... Our waitress ( sorry I'm 74 and can't remember her name) was a... More

We came for dinner without reservations which was a mistake because, as we were told, there was approximately an hour wait (until 8 pm) for seating on the deck. However, a friendly host suggested that we proceed to the bar and wait there, which we did. A very nice bartender (sorry, forgot the name) made suggestions on the dinner menu... More

We came through for lunch with our family on a Thursday. The restaurant was busy but there were open tables, so not slammed. They offered mostly sandwiches and salads for lunch. Food was decent but nothing to rave about. Our son ordered a kids pizza, it was one of those frozen type that you can purchase from the big box... More

My wife and I visited the Spouter Inn in May on a short romantic overnight. Food was great and the service was first-rate. Not an inexpensive restaurant, but the food was worth a bit extra.
