Whenever I go back to New York State- I always try to include a Friday Fish Fry at Ray's. The fish is great, the fries fresh cut, and the coleslaw very good-- the waitresses are so friendly & helpful. Typical pub atmosphere, nothing fancy-- but seems like everyone in the area gathers there- many are called by name. Last week... More

On our road trip this stop was suggested. My first thought when we were hungry and I saw the name late the night before we ate there was... this is no place for as woman...or me...just due to name and lateness of nite. The good thing is ..I was wrong... it's not a bar only.. it appears to be a... More

We've had fish and chips and wings in our visit. Both were basically well prepared. The fish was fresh-tasting with a crispy coating. Wings were "medium" as promised, and had a bit of crispness to them---as expected. This was take-out...

Freshly made casual food. Really good homemade french fries and the soup was homemade and delicious too. It is fine for families but has a bar too. A mix of locals and vacationers - because who doesn't want a friendly smile, cold beer, and comfort food...

Not somewhere to take your prom date, but they have the best wings in all of the area. The wings are the best in all of the area! Because that, they are all I ever order; however my family raved about the fish! Wish I could eat there now!

My family and I regularly eat at Ray's when we're in town. Small but cozy restaurant with daily specials, but closed on Tuesdays. We love their beer-battered fish fry on Fridays, call ahead for a reservation! Also, I have been told they do their own roast beef and homemade gravy for melt in your mouth roast beef on weck sandwich,... More

Great place to eat. Great home cooking. Right on the main road along the lake. Bartenders, waitresses and cooks all do an awesome job

We found this place based on a recommendation from a local. What a great meal and the staff was terrific. Our waitress (Nancy), was great and a source of information on the local area. This is why we skip the chains.

This place is a bit low on decor but with great food, it's easy to overlook. Fish is fresh and delivered hot. Those who had the fish fry found it crispy and not greasy in the least. 2 friends were from the coast of Maryland and stated that it is the best fish fry they have ever had. The wait... More
