Great Japanese yummy food

Was in the ridge hill mall area to get my new iPhone and was super hungry and felt for Asian food and boom , we saw Little Buddha. The environment was very lovely and it had a full bar and a Hibachi area if you desire. We ate in the regular table area. We had sushi and I must say after eating the white tiger sushi I was in love. From the sushi to the soup , the appetizers and the main dish was amazing!!! Super tasty and reasonable priced. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be back on a monthly basis for that White tiger sushi. Omg you can thank me later!! Enjoy

Hibachi Look Good - But Clean The Glass Inside The Restaurant

January 2024, met my family here because they come here all the time, but this was my first time here ever, and I doubt I will be back. My family on the other hand is less judgmental than I am, and I do not fault them for that. When walking inside I noticed the interior was dark especially in the front where the booths are. They need more overhead lighting so you can see the menu and I am sure what your eating, Also, I couldn't help noticing where the booths were there was a wall divider that is covered with nicely carved out wood and glass. Looking through the glass you can tell that it was NEVER cleaned. There were lots of smudges, running throughout the whole glass, and in my opinion that is a big negative in my book. If they don't clean the glass what else are they not cleaning? However, the restaurant tables and flooring looked clean. Ok moving on. There is a Hibachi Room in the back that is a nice size with plenty of lighting and that is where the 5 of us sat and ordered from the Hibachi Menu. The Chef came to the grill in front of our table and started preforming his cooking skills and it was quite a show. When he was plating the dishes with the food it all looked good, however I just had a California Roll and Fried Pork Dumplings from the Menu which tasted fine. I am giving the staff that work here 5 Stars because they were friendly, and the service was fast. My only advice to the owner about this place is PLEASE CLEAN YOUR WINDOWS because it is a reflection on how you feel about your restaurant and customers. Lastly, I hate the fact that you have to pay for Parking at Ridge Hill. What a rip off. Parking should be Free for everyone since we are spending our hard earned money, shopping and eating here.

Nice Decor and I love the option of dining on one end and hibachi in the other. Prices were pretty much what you would and should expect for hibachi. its ok if your hungry

Let me start with the manger the most disgusting nastiest attitude ever. She’s a lady at that and I had to correct her to get apology . customer service is horrible. They were upset because I was asking questions about the menu to try something new.Racist unkind people. And honestly I’m gon make sure none of the corporate people I know ever go here. This place sucks

Rude/Worst Customer Servide

Rudest people I've ever dealt with. Ordered online. Took 3 hours to get it. When it showed up 2 orders were missing. Called restaurant and no one tried to help at all. They told me to call Menufly and Doordash. Said since I ordered online there was nothing they could do. Crazy seeing that calling Menufy and Doordash they had to call the restaraunt to try and fix issue. Both companies had to open up tickets because the restaurant refuse to take responsibility. They went so far as to try and say the Doordash employee must have stolen the food. The absolute worse in customer service. I will never refer anyone here or order from them again. After spending over $300 you would think they would try and help fix the mistake. Its been over 24 hours and I am still trying to get the refund for the two orders that were not sent. Stay away if you can.

Party of 8 and everyone was happy with their meal. My kids loved their sesame chicken! We had 3 different kinds of sushi as well and all were good. I would recommend this place even though it has had some bad reviews. We have eaten there several times over the years and never had a bad meal.

Will Not Return

Every time I am back in New York visiting family, we head to Little Buddha. I have been at least a half dozen times. Unfortunately, I do not think I will return. My most recent visit was subpar, to say the least. The server seemed very disinterested and didn’t even bother to say hello, only asking for our drink order. My mother asked for water without ice but was given a glass filled with ice and it was almost a struggle to make it right. The sushi rolls were decent (not great) and the Steamed Mixed Vegetables with Tofu was very bland and swimming in liquid. Little Buddha is in a prime location at Ridge Hill to be great, but unfortunately, they completely missed the mark.

Hibachi master.

We visited this Hibachi restaurant on a busy Saturday night , service was fast and efficient and the food was delicious. My partner has seafood allergies and they made sure the seafood was cooked to the end. I recommend it and surely we’ll be back.

for the 2nd time we've gone to Little Buddah in Ridge Hill Yonkers and they're closed. Sign on door reads opens 12pm. We are there at 12:30pm. They see us at the door. Make eye contact and nothing. Typical Hibachi style restaurant with option for regular dining

Reasonably priced Hibachi place offering table side chef stir frying on the cooktop in middle of table. Be prepared to share your table and chef with other parties, about 8-9 total per table. Great for parties and large family outings. Haven’t tried the regular dining area yet. Plan to come back.

Rotten Sushi! Stay Away!

We decided to try this Ridge Hill Asian fusion restaurant tonight. We ended up walking out, because the salmon sushi was totally rotten! I could actually smell it before they put it on the table! I tried a piece and had to spit it out. They also had Kumamoto oysters on the menu. I asked the waitress if they were very fresh. She responded, “I don’t know if they’re very fresh.”

Classic Hibachi

Nothing super special but a solid Hibachi experience that is the same as every other hibachi restaurant. Food was tasty and expected. You go here for Hibachi, as requested by the birthday boy in our family. We were not disappointed by any means. The room, however, was very warm on a hot day sitting at a heated table. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly.

Nice food but hot
