This is an early review from me since I've only been here thrice, but each time, I've walked away extremely satisfied and infinitely pleased with this store. 4.5 stars, really! It is mainly a grocer featuring mostly Middle Eastern, Balkan, Greek and even some Indian...offerings in the canned, frozen, fresh and packaged departments. They also have a kitchen which expertly serves up some great Middle Eastern food such as shawarma, falafel, kibbeh, fatayer, etc... Their kitchen cooks for you very admirably tasty food! My favorite is the "Shawarma Arabi Entree" for $11.99. it is your choice of a a chicken or beef shawarma sandwich topped with fries and vegetables. The fries are thin and kind of limp but when you get it to go (as is the usual way), just crisp them in your toaster oven and you'll be experiencing crisp, delicious fries. As for the grocery, wow, they have so much good stuff! I have not been able ever to find these huge (16") Iraqi-style thin pitas since I was in Israel some 40 years ago. Plus, they have very serviceable canned hummus for very cheap which will do you over quite well until you have time to make your own if you're lazy like me. Best part though, they have Balkan halal soujouk, which is a spicy, delicious Balkan dry beef sausage. Also, there are HUGE cans of imported Greek olives, cold shipped imported Bulgarian feta, spices, pickles, a halal butcher shop, etc, etc, etc... The staff are extremely friendly and will bend over backwards for you if you have any questions. I LOVE this place and stop off here every time I'm near the intersection of the Deegan and the Cross County PKWY.More

We have traveled extensively in the Middle East, and have loved the cuisine from the very beginning. Here is a a destination for lovers of Middle Eastern foods and cooking. The place is spotlessly clean, the meats so fresh, the prepared foods among the very...best anywhere, and very fair prices. Excellent service, too.More

I'm very picky when it comes to food but I'd eat anything these guys cook up. The shawarma wraps are to die for and the falafel is amazing. They've only been open for a few months so it'll take time for the word to spread...but give these guys a shot and you won't regret it.More
