The food is absolutely delicious and generous. The margaritas and Pina Coladas are a plus!!! Great live music and the staff is super nice.

My family loves Mexican food. We usually go on Thursdays so service is not an issue. My husband always orders the beef enchiladas with green sauce, my son chicken chilaquiles w/green sauce and two eggs(usually a breakfast meal), my daughter will have sopes which are...a thick round tortilla with your choice of meat, lettuce and white cheese sprinkled on top OR the tacos dorados which are deliciously crunchy. What is not to love? Oh! Almost forgot, I either have sope or beef tacos. Yu-um!More
Had the lunch chicken tacos with rice and beans and they were really good. Loved the motif and the service was great.
Bea utiful little restaurant with authentic delicious Mexican food. Extensive menu goes beyond the usual Mexican fare. While the atmosphere and food were excellent, the service left a lot to be desired. Considering we were the only customers at 5;00 on a Monday, the one...waitress was very slow. Everything was obviously homemade including the delicious horchata. Chile Rellenos are not on the menu, so if you are a fan, just ask for them.More
This is a big Mexican restaurant decorated with all sorts of Mexican folk art and kitsch. It is named after plaza Garibaldi in Mexico city where mariachis perform, and fittingly, mariachis perform here every weekend. We were too early for the show but we enjoyed...good food and good service. they have a large menu with all the standards. Prices are moderate. We tried one order of sopes, like thick corn for tortillas topped with lettuce, steak, and salsa, very tasty; and very well prepared chicken enchiladas. I don't know why anyone would complain about the service because it was very friendly and efficient.More
I was there on a Saturday night and they usually have a show. Spanish of course. It was a comedian very funny as well. They have a nice bar as well. Its usually better on friday and saturdays.
We were there for Valentine's day. I mean I understand they were super busy. But the service was more than awful! The waitresses (there were 2 for our table 17) didn't take our order correctly. After placing our drink order we waited for 30 minutes...to get drinks delivered. We placed our food order maybe 10 mins after our drink order. We got 2 baskets of chips for 5 tables. After we ordered our appetizers which I have to say did come quick. Guacamole with again 1 basket of chips. We waited for our food. And waited and waited nearly 2 hours later they come out to say our food is on its way. 10 more minutes pass nothing then finally after 2.5 hours of waiting we get our food. Its totally screwed up. I have to say have never been more disappointed with service at a restaurant. They didnt even offer to refill our drinks we had to keep asking them. We didnt even see the waitresses walkimg around taking orders they were all just huddled in the bar area. Probably counting their fingers. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BE GOING TO THIS PLACE.More
I love coming to eat at this place. One of my favorite Mexican places. Only thing is that the service there is not that great. I still go there because the food is good. Every time we go there we get the guacamole which is...made in front of you, one time we got a server that just wouldn't stop talking and we had no idea what he was talking about and another time we got one that he didn't talk at all and on top of it slamming things which was annoying. The place has great food just don't think you'll get amazing service.More
The food is great, the decor is colorful and fun, the service was perfect. We were there for a business meeting. My husband had the chile rellenos (NOT on the menu), and declared them some of the best he'd ever had. We are Mexican foodies,...and this place is a delight. They have great lunchtime specials also. And hamburgers with fries ! It is worth the trip!More
Not a mexican fan, so to say that i have eaten here several times is a rave. Inside is spacious and clean. Food has always been hot, fresh and good tasting. The waitresses are always friendly. Off road free parking
In town from Illinois and visited with family. Ordered chicken tacos which were a bit salty for my taste but parents got (translated) garlic shrimp and they raved!!! Young bus boy who cleaned our tables was extremely polite.
Was traveling with two associates from Asia. When I suggested Mexican they were not excited, but I convinced them to try it. Plaza Garibaldi was quiet that night. Service was attentive. Guac is made at the table. You can see all the ingredients. Waiter can...be heavy on the salt so feel free to stop him, It was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the servings were plentiful. Definitely would go backMore
I've been going to PG for years and have not been disappointed once. The food is always great. I especially like the steaks, broiled or a la mexicana and the chorizo quesadillas. Live music and a packed house Friday nights & wknd nights. Eating in...on weeknights is more laid back.More
Not being Mexican/Latino myself, I dare say, though, that the food seems to be quite authentic Mexican. We liked it very much, well spiced and overall just really tasty. We loved the Mexican beverages, like the Horchata, sooo good! We asked to have the menu...explained to us, as we were not that familiar with those dishes' terminology. The waitress was very friendly and patient, helping us to make the right chioce. What's odd about this place, and hence worth mentioning: the chairs are so tall, we didn't feel very comfortable sitting at the table, which, unfortunately, impaired the overall experience to some extent.More
This restaurant has authentic Mexican food. It always is a pleasure going here. Great service and delicious food.
