Lovely restaurant, sweet and friendly service. Open and airy, spacious. The food was mediocre at best and extremely overpriced. Stick with the simple appetizers and salads. The room gets very loud. This is our second visit, same experience. There was a party going on upstairs that was very loud and felt like the ceiling was going to collapse.

We stopped for lunch as we were visiting Woodstock. Nice menu and the food was excellent. We had the chicken salad baguette and the chicken ceasar salad. Loved the homemade sweet potato chips. Would go again if in the area.

We enjoyed our meal at Joshua's restaurant, The asparagus with smoked salmon and latkes was a new combination for me and I enjoyed every. bite of the meal. The other meals for our party were attractively served and large portions,

We stopped here after several other restaurants dos not have air conditioning. Way too hot and humid for that! We ate upstairs which was clean and beautiful. Several has chicken salad, one had a burger, Brie turkey sandwich, crab cake while I had spicy steak pita. All delicious. Sweet potato chips were good.

Perfect stop for lunch after a walk around Woodstock. We were comfortably seated downstairs, although it seems the preferred location is on the second floor. The menu has a good variety of locally sourced and vegan and middle-eastern dishes as well as Hudson Valley rib-eye and Cajun style salmon, Asian curry and hot-pot (in other words something for everyone). Good... More

The long ride toWoodstock NY was well worth it for our brunch at Joshua's. Totally unexpected we walked in after reading their yummy brunch menu in the window. The food was outstanding and service was attentive. My husband had falafel and it was huge and messy! I had eggs over easy with hummus, baba ganoush and tabouli sides with a... More

Joshua's was appealing from the street and OK as a lunch venue. The shish kabob and the chicken salad were very good. Good service even though we added an item late in the meal. Seating is an unusual arrangement upstairs. Overall, a nice experience.

A small restuaurant on the high street in Woodstock. It has more of a cafe atmosphere. It was quite relaxed with simple wooden tables and decor. The menu was great - sandwiches, salads, hot food. We shared a mezze and some fabulous zuccini fritters. We also had a hot steak sandwich. We had a matcha green tea latte which was... More

A great atmosphere. Friendly and polite staff. I have food allergies. Enough of a selection on the menu for me to find something I could have. The staff was very willing to accommodate my needs. Prices were reasonable. Food was excellent. This was a return trip to this restaurant for me.

Joshua's has been a local favorite for decades and it still provides fresh (uniquely middle-eastern-ish) food. The bloody Mary's are a must at brunch and their coffee and espresso offerings are impressive. If it's raining (or not), sit upstairs and look out onto Tinker Street through the large windows! They even have a few table games upstairs for kiddos and... More
