If you miss Filipino food, it is the best place to satisfy your cravings. They do serve authentic Filipino cuisine. I do recommend their crispy pork, kare-kare and chicharon bulaklak.

i've been coming to Ihawan for over 18 years... every time is a different venture with family and friends... the food is exelent,... the service is, meh... the decor, was redone nicely. meaning: they removed the old carpet from the dining area!! on thursday, april 21st, 2016, i ordered a number one - pork stick bbq meal. very simple... this... It was worth the trip from Jersey to Queens, NY. The ambiance is pleasant and the food is truly authentic Filipino taste, outstanding indeed. Sometimes the waiters are not attentive enough to check on the customers other needs or requests after the meal was served. But the quality of the food compensates for it.

They have plenty of choices of Filipino Food. All are the basic food. A simple and typical Filipino Food and its very delectable. I like this restaurant because they don't over experiment of a normal Filipino Food. They served it as the way its served in The Philippines. ( No Asian Fusion Drama ) Which is great !

I need comfort food in New York and coming to Ihawan gives a feeling of home cooked meals. The barbecue chicken is still the best for me though they have introduced new dishes like grilled tuna and my friends say it was delicious. Its as authentic as what Filipino cuisine can be. I am always glad to see other nationalities... More

The best way to get there is with the 7-local train to the 69th Street Station in Woodside. Do not take the 7-Express which will by-pass this station. Exit through the south exit and it's less than a 30 second walk away. Walk along Roosevelt Avenue, make a right turn onto 70th Street and voila! You are there. The first... More

Went here with friends from the Philippines. Had the 6 person BBQ platter. The food was perfect! Beef, pork and chicken grilled to perfection. Deep fried pork and oxtail soup. Also jack fruit and jumbo prawns. Was a great night and awesome meal. Can't go wrong here!

I can always trust Ihawan to satisfy my hankering for a home cooked Filipino meal. Their cooking is pretty authentic and they have a variety of dishes for every palate. Price could be a tad better but I recommend Ihawan as a place for Filipino dishes.

Visited over for memorial weekend with my parents. We had the platter that serves about 8 people, and it was amazing. First of all, the platter can feed more than what your group has and the quality is impecable. I really enjoyed the food and the hospitality of the staff. They were honest about what they served and the freshness... More

Food here is average, better choice than the surrounding Filipino restaurants when it comes to popular dishes. Bar-b-q pork is tasty, marinated well. Crispy pata (deep fried pork hocks) is great . I would come here for the BBQ dishes. Others on the menu are just average. They have a platter served on banana leaves for two or bigger groups;... More
