Great Experience

After our morning fishing charter, we choose to visit for a late lunch, before visiting the wineries and sightseeing. The atmosphere is beautiful and perfectly clean, the wait staff was hospitable and accommodating, We needed a family table for eight. Each of us ordered a variety of dishes... from salmon to wings, everything was presented well and tasted great.

THE BEST WOOD FIRE PIZZA..................YUM

We were in Wilson for a weekend getaway and we decided to go to Woodcock Brothers for an afternoon drink and maybe some appetizers. Matthew was our server and he was very efficient and friendly. We sat out on the patio as it was a gorgeous day in July and I think that the roof is so thick it stays super cool underneath outdoors. There are probably about 10-12 tables all over the patio. We had a couple drinks then ordered something to eat. I had the strawberry goat cheese salad and my husband ordered the cheese double pepperoni pizza with hot peppers it was all delicious just as I remembered from our first visit a couple years ago. If you walk farther down the walkway there is also Savage Woodcock where you can order hard cider, beer or wine. I had a coupon for 5 tastings so I went down and did my tastings while we were there also, great wines Richie is the guy who works there he is super nice gives you all the low down of the wines and ciders. All in all everything was excellent and we had a good time and immensely enjoyed out food and drink Very quaint, peaceful place to stop for lunch or dinner on a gorgeous day, my suggestion sit on the patio it was wonderful

Good beer, bad food

The place is interesting and full of atmosphere with its long bar and pizza ovens on view. Delicious beer (ipa) and friendly cheerful service. The food, however, was very mediocre. My wife had the roasted sprouts which were so sickly sweet that she could only eat about half of them. I had a burger with cold fries and a soggy bun (a rather sad affair) so we will not be going back when hungry, but we might look in when we’re thirsty.

Woodcock Brothers new business model

HIGHLY disappointed in the change in service at this establishment. We frequented this restaurant/brewery at least 2 times a month. We always enjoyed their menu and staff. Today we found out they no longer have wait staff. They seat you at a table with a number. Once you decide on what you want, you have to go back to the bar area, order your food and drinks then wait for your drinks at the bar. You then return to your table and they will bring your food over when it’s ready. If you want another drink or are missing anything, you have to go back to the bar for assistance. We will miss being waited on by their waitresses/waiters. It wasn’t a pleasant dining experience.

We wanted to buy the Woodcock IPA and were delighted that we could also have dinner at the brewery. The beer was excellent as always and the food was delicious. We really appreciated that although the restaurant was busy, it was not noisy and we could actually talk to each other. Doing one's own ordering at the bar and having the food delivered to our table was a first for us but it worked very well. We will go back and bring family members.

Disappointing Meal

Caught the tail end of the Olcott Beach Car Show and decided to head here for a drink & bite to eat, expecting to wait for a table given a Saturday evening. Parking lot was not full & we were seated immediately. All food & beverage orders are taken at the bar, credit card to hold a tab open & cashed out later there. Enjoyed the stout & housemade root beer but was disappointed by the "weekend special" BBQ Pulled Pork Carnitas. Our plates arrived with tortillas chips covering the entire plate with 3 carnitas on top. Inside the flour shells was slaw & a skimpy amount of pork topped with several jalapeno slices which was all you could taste. The rice side was bland, flavorless & lacked any seasoning. A disappointing meal but we did leave with a takeout box of leftover chips!

The pepperoni on the pizza is delicious and spicy but the rest of the pizza was bland. The pizza crust was undercooked and not crispy. The open faced reuben is a skillet of orange something. Not sure if it’s cheese or thousand island dressing but it was very odd and did not taste anything like a reuben. The beers we tried were okay but would not bring us back to the restaurant. Service was good.

Tasty brew and food in the country

Stopped here for lunch after visiting a Vineyard. Ate outside and enjoyed their craft brews (flights available). Food was tasty and of what you would expect quality wise for this type of establishment. Will return again if passing through. Enjoy!

Little Gem in a Small Town!

We ate lunch here one day while vacationing in Wilson. My husband got a burger and it was huge! My son and I shared a pizza, which was delicious. Nice to have such a cool place in a little town. Definitely recommend!

Best place we ate while in Niagara Falls!!

This restaurant/brewery had a great menu of food and beer! I like porters and stouts, and this was the only place that we ate that had any!! I was tired of burgers, hot dogs, and pizza, so their Cobb Salad hit the spot!!! The staff was so friendly and they had merchandise for sale. I would highly recommend this place for dinner or lunch!!!

Found this place by accident while visiting the Youngstown area. Great food and very cool interior. Good IPA. The homemade pretzels are a must have!

Great food and staff!!

Went to dinner with friends and what a great place! Loved our server, Stephanie!! She was so personable and was tentative!! The bar area was awesome! The food fantastic! Charred Caesar salad and Greek wood fired pizza - YUM!! Hubs had the French onion soup and Beef on Wick, some of the best he’s had! Would absolutely recommend!!

PIZZA and wings were so yummy!! Staff was friendly and fun!! We sat outside and enjoyed each others company, The Porch was comfy and easy to spend time together. We will be back!!
