What a fun place to meet up with friends especially when a live band is performing. My friends enjoyed their drinks. What an intimate setting.

We booked a table at the Eagle House after reading several good reviews and we weren't disappointed. Friendly staff, great dinner choices and good quality food. Definitely a "do-again".

Had the special prime rib steak salad. I was very surprised it was served on iceberg and not greens. Cucumber slice were dried out. The steak was overcooked but seasoned nicely. The server was good and offered to make another but I simply didn't want eat that much. The server said it varied day to day but I did not... More

First the good news...the restaurant is lovely. We ate outside on the back patio...perfect setting for a summer evening. Our waiter, Ken, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. When my salad arrived, I asked Ken if he would bring a different salad as the one I received looked old with lots of browning lettuce. It... More

Their Beef Wellington lured me back for a second visit. It was so buttery tender, inside a flaky crust. The wild mushroom pate was the perfect topping for the beef, and the sauce makes you wish there were more of it on your plate. The chocolate pecan pie gave a sweet, decadent finish to my dinner. My second visit, just... More

This restaurant is in an old building. Lots of character. We sat at the bar and ate dinner there. Had the Buffalonian (beef on weck and 4 wings). Really too much food but it was good. Parking is behind the building and is a problem due to construction .

Having spent the day with family for our granddaughter's first communion, my wife and I needed a quick bite at the end of a long day. The check-in guy at our hotel recommended this place. He made a good recommendation. We each had a drink and a sandwich from the light bites section of the menu. Fit the bill perfectly... More

Had dinner at the Eagle House over Memorial Day weekend while in the Buffalo area for a family reunion and the marathon. It's a bit like stepping back in time, if your grandmother's house was all dark wood and floral wallpaper--warm, cozy, but with an eclectic collection of wall art. My husband had prime rib and found it cooked as... More

My wife and I stopped here for dinner on a Monday evening. Not very busy, so we were seated immediately. We came here with an Entertainment Book coupon, which we use as an incentive to try new places. The atmosphere was dark and old-fashioned, although everything appeared to be clean. A few people asked to be moved to different tables... More

My wife likes to shop at Talbot's and Chico's in Williamsville, New York, a Buffalo 'burb and so, we have grown fond of lunching at The Eagle House at 5578 Main St. (eaglehouseonline.com) Our favourite meal is the Cobb salad which the Eagle House does quite nicely. The atmosphere is quiet and comfortable as befits its history with decades of... More
