We went there for a beef on weck and ended up eating 2 prime rib sandwiches each! Thursdays are Prime Rib day and its definitely the day to visit. We did go back the next day for a beef on weck and were a little bit dissapointed after the prime rib the night before.

Stopped for dinner and had the classic "beef on weck" delicious sandwich. The mustard and egg potato salad and coleslaw were a hit as well! Priced reasonably, friendly staff. We would definitely return

Charlie the Butcher's Kitchen has the best roast beef sandwiches in the Buffalo area. They are served on either Kimmelweck or Kaiser rolls and are loaded with really tasty, freshly carved lean roast beef. Yum! And only $6.99. If roast beef isn't your favorite, there is also a great sandwich menu including Polish or Italian sausage, hot dogs, prime rib, turkey,... More

This no frills quirky interior reflect one of a kind food which has not lessened in quality over the years. It is the best roast beef on weck in town. The hand carved beef slices are hot and succulent served up on fresh roles softer yet with fresh au jus . Thursday's there is a prime beef sandwich which is... More

Great sandwich, a real must-do when in the Buffalo area. Fresh horseradish adds a real punch, and the prices are reasonable.

This place gets busy at rush hour and afterward. The burgers and all other items are delicious. Before you take your order to go make sure your burger is well done , if you ordered it that way. We left , got home and I had to go back because my burger was too rare for me to enjoy. When... More

Considering roast beef sandwiches is all they do I expected them to be stellar. My beef was tough and grizzly. They slice it thick. Sides were medeocre. Not really impressed. It was just ok for me.

Many Regional specialties as you travel. Found out when I lived in Buffalo there are a few. Sponge Candy, fried bologna and of course Beef on a Wick. If you never had beef in a weck you need come to Buffalo and try. Many places serve, Andersons is a big one. But, the Best is Charlie the Butcher. I try... More

The beef on weck was perfection. The meat was nice and juicy. The roll was just the right amount of salt. we topped off our sandwich with delicious rice pudding with whipped cream and cinnamon. Will definitely come back.
