Simple old fashion like Resturant. Service was good. People were friendly. Only 3 stars because as a vegetarian, there wasn't anything on the menu for me.

Have been there many times in the past, waitress was good, but took forever to get order. food was okay, not good like in the past. floors looked dirty, and when we took check up had to wait quite a bit for someone to come take our money. At that time there were only a couple of people in the... More

This family owned diner is very nice. The food is very good and fresh; not just heated up. It is on the main route between the highway exit and entrance. You may have a few bears staring at you while you eat..........Teddybears that is!

Friendly staff. Decent food, I love their hot roast beef sandwiches, and their burgers. Great prices. And, I love their fries! They're really good about catering to your needs and they make you feel very welcome. The space is small and sometimes crowded, but that just seems to add more fun to the atmosphere.

We drove roughly 35 minutes to try a place that our neighbors recommended, but when we discovered that it was closed, we continued driving and stumbled upon this cute small-town diner. We were able to be seated right away, and our hostess was extremely friendly and easy to have a conversation with. Although small on the inside, the restaurant was... More

mother's day call-ins and extra customers made for a busy time and a longer wait at the "country," but the food was fine, a mushroom and cheese omelet worth the wait... very friendly personnel... crowded... you don't survive long in a place as small as whitney point by serving bad meals... a trailer-diner

While driving from Niagara Falls to Long Island we drove into town for lunch. Not wanting fast food we drove past those options and came upon this tiny gem. It seems to be popular with the locals which is always a good sign. The food is prepared fresh. I had a handmade burger, fries and cole slaw. All were exceptional... More

Had enough of fast food and chain restaurant and driving through Whitney Point? I love these kind of places, authentic and unpretentious. Not gastronomy, but the classic American diner offerings. Best of all: the friendly, efficient and courteous stall makes you feel accepted like a local.

We stopped in here on our way to NYC hoping for a good home cooked meal. The service started out okay but went down hill quickly. We ordered and my husband was missing more than half his meal. The server never came back to ask how things were so we had to go find another server and ask for the... More

The country kitchen is a great spot to get online (that's right - free WiFi), eat some dinner food and sample the local charm of Whitney Point. The food was good and affordable. My wife and I ate a large lunch for less than $20 including tip and drinks.
