Six of us stopped for lunch on our way to Binghamton from Ithaca. The extensive menu made it difficult to decide on what to order. Everything looked good. Some of us had the daily special, salads, and panini's. Everyone was pleased and thrilled to have some leftovers. The atmosphere was inviting and the server was terrific.

This excellent restaurant is just the place for a rest stop on your way to or from Ithaca. Start with littlenecks over a garlicky pasta or try the onion soup that would make a French chef proud or a Caesar with anchovies: All are tasty and prepared as you like them. Veal, chicken, fish, shellfish, filet mignon, pizza, full bar,... More

Aiello's is always a stop for us as we travel from Sodus to Long Island. It is close to the highway. The service is fast and the menu has numerous choices from pizza to charbroiled steak. Our last visit was Friday, 7/22/16 for lunch; I had the panini special this trip, I may not be able to spell panini but... More

The food is good Italian American fare - Veal Scallopini, Eggplant Parmesan, salads, especially the Greek, any pasta dish, etc.- tried over the years and enjoyed. It's a convenient stop on a way back to northern NY. What is not enjoyed is their extra plate charge for splitting dishes, charges for extra dressing on the salads buried in an "extra... More

Sorry about how you feel about our policies our portions are very generous and for that reason we charge a $3 additional for splitting a meal. You need to consider the extra dishes we need to put out and if everyone starts splitting meals we wouldn't be able to stay in business very long specially in NY State and the... More

Heading home from Ottawa and got hungry. Stopped at a rest stop and saw a brochure for Aiello's. The brochure was enticing and the experience was even better. What's a restaurant like this doing in a place like this (rural remote). Great Italian food and Lucy our server added spice with some good banter. I say get hungry in middle... More

Traveling from Upstate NY to Virginia, we stopped by Aiello's for a late lunch. Seeing our VA plates, locals told us we had made a great choice. The food was excellent! Our server Lucy was friendly and helpful with navigating the extensive menu choices. The owner stopped by for a quick chat and to ensure everything was to our satisfaction.... More

We had a very nice lunch at Aiello's Restaurant in Whitney Point NY. I ordered the lasagna and my wife had scallops. Both dishes were cooked well and were very tasty. The bread served with the meals was served warmed and was delicious. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs and efficient. Prices are a little high on some... More

The service is always excellent. Warm as if you are part o the family. The food is delicious, never had a bad thing. The desserts to die for. This is always the spot I choose for my birthday dinner. The bar makes the most perfect drinks as well.

We pulled off the highway at the Aiello's sign that we hoped would signal a real Italian restaurant. It was just a lunch but it showed that the Aiellos pay attention to their food. Italian wedding soup--excellent and not out of a can. (One cavil--the soup spoon was too shallow--hard to eat with.) The salad was good, two day's special... More

we've known of this place for years, but it wasn't until last night, a Tuesday, that the stars aligned for us to stop in... it was wonderful in every regard, and let us mention first that at 5 o'clock the in-house music changed from top-50 pop to a light, appetite-inducing soft jazz... such attention to detail, amazing... whitney point, a... Description
The Aiello Family moved to America from Sicily, Italy. Calogero (Charlie) was born in the village of Partannaand Vincenzo (Vinnie) was born in Alba, in the Piedmont area of northern Italy.Having grown up in and around restaurants and in Mama’s always busy kitchen, the family moved to Whitney Point where Vito (Papa) opened Aiello’s Ristorante in May of 1982 for his two sons to operate. The friendliness of Whitney Point has allowed Aiello’s to grow from a small pizzeria to the comfortable full service restaurant you enjoy today. It is important to us that you know we use fresh herbs, spices, cheeses and imported 100% olive oil in our kitchen. The finest raw ingredients we can find assure you of the highest quality experience. We enjoy getting to know our guests. Thank you for visiting with our family and we hope to see you again soon.
