The one thing I can say about the Big Apple diner is the food is great. The prices are a bit on the high side for a diner but we did add dessert so that's what ups the price for us. BLT was fantastic and the pies were delicious. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The one thing that they do... More

Had the Philly steak sub and the chicken and biscuits. Also apple pie and waffles. Philly was good but lacking in meat. Good cheese not the orange runny type. Chicken and biscuits were ok but roux sauce was a bit lumpy and the dish under seasoned. Carrots were overcooked and old. Apple pie was served with no cream or ice... More

I absolutely love this place. The food tastes like my grandma's cooking. I had a bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg. I didn't taste any preservatives, greasy fats, or fancy top notch spices or weird add ons. Just a simple, home cooked, cheeseburger. I do recommend this place if you get here early. I got here at 8a on a... More

Everyone always says: stop and eat where the truck drivers eat. Well this is where I stop to eat and I've been a driver almost 40 years. The best in my opinion is the breakfast, but, I do like the sandwiches with hand cut fries which are awesome. You really can't go wrong no matter what you order off the... More

Have passed this diner for years but decided to try it. Prices seemed reasonable with a good selection. My wife's PhillyCheese steak lacked meat was all roll and meat was burnt. She remarked it was the worst Philly ever and I agree from what I saw. Service was good and might try again but hope we don't get a similar... More

A typical diner with good food for the money. The service as very good and helped start my day off with a smile. Even though if 8 AM they would prepare anything on their menu. When traveling through the area I'd stop again.

Stopped at the Big Apple Diner while conducting business near by. The food was very good and their cubed home fries a first in a diner. The prices were very good and while we were having breakfast the cook was bringing fresh pies from the kitchen that looked incredible. Good breakfast cheap

I have been going here since I was a kid! Don't pass by on your way through, stop for a bite to eat in this family owned diner, good food and great people! They have the best turkey clubs and fresh fries, they have daily specials, breakfast here is also pretty amazing

We are a real fan of comfortable, unpretentious restaurants and this one hits the mark. Clean and tidy, it exudes comfort, and the home cooked food is made fresh to order. We wished we had room for pie because the pastry looked wonderfully flaky. The only weak spot was the coffee. They are brewing Green Mountain Coffee, so they are... More
