Julianne salad with gushy hard boiled eggs, greens past their prime, tomatoes soft and tasteless, carrot shreds dry and bad tasting and soft cukes-I asked the waitress what happened to what was a beautiful salad. She said they get everything in "precut-even hard boiled eggs!...It was gross. I returned my meal-and they did not even give me a break in the cost. What a disappointment.More
We enjoyed coming to Gardenview tonight for their Thursday night kids eat free special. The kids each enjoyed a magic man that came to our table. They each had balloons made into swords and flying mice lol. The stuffed pepper soup was very tasty. The...fingers and grilled sandwich was very good too. We will be back! Very pretty inside as well! We stopped here for dinner after trying another spot that had a crazy long wait. Wasn’t really expecting too much. But we were pleasantly surprised!! Our waitress was so friendly and our meal was great. We both had french onion soup. Very tasty. I had...a taco wrap. It was huge and very good. Hubby had a chicken wrap. Which was stuffed with goodness. They also have a display wonderful looking desserts!! I was too full to try one but will tbe next time!!!More
After making the mistake of ordering the Mediterranean sampler as an appetizer for himself on a previous trip we ordered it for my brother and myself on this trip...mistake because it is easy too much for one person. Absolutely delicious. Service was top notch as...usual. This trip we splurged on dessert and these was very good also. Leave room for dessert!More
A solid breakfast done well with great service. Food was your normal breakfast selection. Nothing outstanding, but nothing was not disappointing.

Whenever I want a great and affordable meal I go here! Their menu has a nice variety to choose from. In particular I love their salads! One of my favorite things about Gardenview is when you order coffee, they have flavored creamer available (french vanilla,...hazelnut) and it's always a nice treat. The atmosphere is nice and cozy and the staff are great. Definitely one of my go to places for a great meal!More
This restaurant accepted our large group's reservation and looked after us well. Friendly, accommodating, attentive staff. Did not have to ask for water refill. Large variety to choose from menu - burgers, pasta, sandwiches, salads, meat entrees, also smaller portion menu. Restaurant has separate areas...for large groups. Although portions tend to be on the generous side (no one will leave hungry), some of the food was disappointing. Salmon Oscar advertised crab meat however it was the fake crab meat - can't really expect the real thing when entrée is less than $20. Chicken souvlaki very salty. Sampler salad big enough for 4 to share - basically garden salad with olives and 6 pieces of fried items (2 cheese sticks, 2 spring rolls, 2 chicken fingers - get these on the side so you can have them as appetizers, they tend to be on salty side, good deal @ $11). Good French onion soup. Nice pastas and sandwiches. Would definitely come back again to try dessert (tall cakes look awesome), breakfast. Meat entrees such as Salmon Oscar and Roast Beef are most expensive entrees - might not be worthwhile as they are $16-18 range while most entrees are $10-13 range.More

Gardenview used to be a great place to eat but since the original owner passed, it has gone down hill. The food still tastes good, but not great like it used to be. Most dissatisfying is how small portions have gotten. Last night I had...the Spinach Mushroom Burger. It used to be a huge piece of meaty yumminess (as were all of their hamburgers) served on a big plate overflowing with really great fries and a side of good slaw. Now, for the same money, you get a burger half the size, a small basket of fries and no slaw. On the plus side, the restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and they are open 24 hours.More
Like to grab breakfast here they are very friendly and quick. Food is very good and priced reasonable. Nothing special but a great place for a quick breakfast and get on with your day.
My husband and I had supper here after a drive from Vermont. The food was good and the servings were plentiful.
