My title says it all! We get a to go order from Schwabls 3-4 times a year. Today's order, 2 wecks and a side of fries came to $26...a little pricey. But, it's the best bet in this neck of the woods and worth the occasional splurge.

We thought the prices were on the high end for what you get! The roast beef on wick is nothing to write home about. My wife didn't care for the coleslaw but we did agree the fries were good!!!!! 40 bucks for two beefs and fries is WAY TO MUCH. we won't be back soon!

I have had sandwiches here. They are good and loaded with beef. There is more beef than necessary on a sandwich and they are expensive.

Came here for lunch because of the ratings for the weck. My sandwich was delicious! I had mashed potatoes and coleslaw as my sides. I would have to say hands down it was the best coleslaw I have ever had YUM!. My son had German potato salad and that was also excellent. The food was wonderful, however the service was... More

After chaperoned the ladies of the house on their shopping spree at the new Premium Outlet Mall the whole morning, we ended up having a rustic, homey and wholesome meal at Western New York's iconic institution ' Schwabl's ' - in business since 1837! In addition to their 'must try' sandwich - 'Beef on Weck' ( thinly sliced pieces of... More

Came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. My husband greatly enjoyed the Beef on Weck, tender slices of roast beef and a perfect salted Weck roll. He also ordered fries with gravy that he said was delicious. I ordered a cold turkey sandwich l. It was piled high with thick carved turkey slices, I chose white bread. The bread... More

I visited Schwabl's for the very first time on a Friday during lunch in March at noon with my sister (who had been to the restaurant many times before but had not frequented in a long time). Funny thing was, she told me about a story when she had last visited about wanting water with her meal, and the waitress... More

We all ordered the roast beef on kimmelweck. The roles were soggy and the beef was chewier than I expected. It was a neat environment in that the place was over 70 years old. Odd that the waitresses wear white uniforms that look like they were working in a cafeteria.

My family and I were passing through on our way home. We researched good eats in Buffalo, NY and landed in this little restaurant. I loved the early 20th century feel with Frank Sinatra playing and the uniforms for the staff. We went for lunch so it wasn't busy. We got the roast beef of weck. It was very good.... More
