We have heard about this place for must do to visit and have been very disappointed.Food is very basic and highly overpriced.Staff is not friendly and they stuff up our order. When we went to the toilet the door fell off.Definitely not the place to eat unless you want the coffee only.

We were disappointed in the range of choices for lunch. Wanted something savoury, heathy and simple. The homemade cakes looked amazing & the coffee was great.

While walking and exploring flaxmill bay we came across this little gem. What as amazing posi. A house, beautiful gardens with tables and scultures to browse. Not fabulous coffee and the homemade ice cream I had was grainy but amazing place. Worth a visit for the experience though.

This is a great casual place to pop in and have a meal with family regardless of age. The staff are friendly, the food is good and it has a quirky atmosphere which is loved by all. I would recommend that you try this place at least once while you stay at Cooks beach. It's a memory you will have... More

We arrived in the dark but parking was easy and found our way in ok. Look for the ponga arch and walk up the path to the restaurant if you're not sure where to go. Received a warm and friendly welcome, and enjoyed seeing the fire ticking over in the grate making the place nice and comfortable. We both chose... More

Loved this place. Was staying nearby and was recommended to go here for breakfast and it didn't disappoint! Lovely food, coffee and the scenery and setting was top class. Service was very good and an interesting place. Things to look at in the garden and a cool little shop onsite with local produce. Definitely recommend to visit!

It's a very quirky place, but not trendy or contrived in any way. And they certainly deliver fresh, natural food with a creative twist. We loved it - from the Rangotongan fish dish through to the desert, every dish was superb. And at great value.
