Great hostessing

Lovely place to dine. Watresses and waiters were accomodating and helpful. Food a little on the bland side for how expensive it was but other than that was lovely.

This place is in a great location, looking out over the docks. The menu is rather limited and pricy and for what you pay you don't really get a lot on your plate and the quality doesn't mirror the prices. The service in the restaurant was friendly to a point where it got annoying. Getting asked whether everything is fine... More

Lovely setting, greeted by a very pleasant and helpful young man but the food was way below par for the price. A small thin slice of overcooked fish, almost cold vegetables, poor salad. Don't go.

With seating placed on the waterfront, makes this establishment the perfect place for sundowners. With views of the Marina and the Waterfront lends it to be the perfect place for afternoon drinks.

We paid the visit on Chinese New Year. One of the most important meals of the year. I ordered Lamb to be well cooked as I am pregnant. 40min after our entree the lamb came still bleeding. so it was sent back to the kithen. The 2nd time, it seems to be cooked from the outside but when I cut... More

We went to Salt to try the seafood and we weren't disappointed. All the food was delicious and we enjoyed it at a table sat outside overlooking the marina. Fabulous lunch experience.

Our group of 5 had a great dinner outside. The salmon was excellent as was the service. Sitting outside we had a great view of the bay and enjoyed the atmosphere. Highly recommend you have dinner at the Salt Bar.

This is a wonderful restaurant location is right on the waterfront, beside the marina. Perfect for sunny days as they have plenty of seating on the deck. They also have lots of umbrellas to protect you from the harsh New Zealand sunshine. This visit however was spent inside as the heavens had opened and it was raining hard. Our waitress... More

We booked dinner after the summer concert in Whitianga. Meals were fresh, great size and value for money. The staff were accommodating and friendly. We would go back

This is such a lovely place to sit and eat, the food is good but a few more choices would be great. The staff were so helpful and friendly.
