We visited for lunch, and were absolutely delighted from our pre lunch wine tasting, friendly welcome, menu explanation, sensational views to the food itself. We opted for 3 courses and selected entrees, main & dessert for $80pp. The pictures I have attached do not do the food justice, the fresh tasting flavour combinations were amazing, highlight for me personally was the Gnocchi, it was to die for. I can see why Wills domain receives all the well deserved accolades.

6 if us booked for a lazy lunch. All ended having the 3 course for $80 each and were very pleased with the quality of food and service. Duck main was excellent, all lived the dessert.
Reasonably priced wine list from the winery. All in ca $220 per couple and we didn't hold back on wine.

If I could score more than 5 stars I would. The best lunch by far this visit. Did a wine tasting first. Very knowledgeable German guy and some very nice wines. Restaurant food and service out of this world. We chose$70 choice menu. Either entree and main or main and dessert p/p. For entree I had poached squid in a broth. Sqid was tender and the broth delicious. My hubby had the fish ceviche which was equally delicious. Oh we did try whipped Marion with potato’s skins first $9. This was unreal black squid ink crisps and the whipped marron beautiful. For main I had duck on the waiters recommendation. So glad I did. The duck was leg meat removed from the bone and twice cooked again with lovely purée and plum jam. My hubby had lamb mottainai with eggplant. Equally cooked to perfection and delicious. We decided to have cheese for dessert $10 and we chose a soft Brie it came with house made crackers yum!! A bottle of ssb $35 all in all a wonderful afternoon. Cannot fault the venue the staff or the chef. Thank you wills domain you should be very proud. Can’t wait to come back!!

We booked in for lunch, when we arrived we were shown to our table but wanted to taste wines first, we had to wait around for another couple who were making a large purchase. It would have been nice if the staff member stopped and came over to get our tasting started then went back to them. During this time one of the wait staff offered our table to another couple, so our tastings were cut short as we didn’t want lose our table.
Our main waiter was pretentious (no names mentioned). Was a set menu for 2 or 3 courses we went with the 2. The bubbles were nice however both entrees (lobster & cured lamb) were very disappointing, they were small in size, lacked flavour and the lobster had a strong fish smell. Thank god our mains were better. The shiraz was outstanding and the view is to die for.. definitely the highlight.

Slightly under cooked half quail, rump steak that can only be done MR (i asked for blue) makes me think all rumps were pre cooked. Very small serves and being told the choices on our menu will be reduced to two per course because we increased our guests number from 7 to 9. Overall a restaurant with a very arrogant attitude. For your info your site promotes five courses for $85, last Thursday we paid $95 for 3 courses with 2 choices.

Dropped in for a taste & a coffee. There was no one in the tasting area so we headed to the restaurant area. There was nobody around & no sign asking us to wait to be seated so we found a table and sat. A wait person who struggled to understand our question about ordering, eventually directed us back to the tasting area.
There we sat on a chesterfield & a chair. A man at the tasting bar yelled across asking what we wanted. My sister called back our order.
The order was carried back from the restaurant area - and was lukewarm by the time it arrived.
Oh well, we’ll have a taste.
But no one was there any more. After waiting we left.
The man from the tasting area was out chatting with someone in the car park.
As I said, nice view.

Thank you so much for the friendly kind service which really became one of the highlight of our trip down-south. Four grannies having a time out to revisit Wills Domayne, last visited for a fabulous wedding. The $16 glass of Shiraz from a $125 bottle was to die for!!! & such generous amount.
Lucas and assistant lovely lady are just sooo nice!
x2 free jugs of chilled sparkling water & The cheese platter whilst absorbing the fabulous scenery 💐

My husband won a voucher so we booked in for lunch whilst visiting the area for a few days away. We arrived shortly before our booking and had a wine tasting which allowed me to choose a good bottle to enjoy at lunch. The table we had was right by the window and had great views. Service was exceptional - we were asked about any dietary issues and guided through the menu - it was great to have so many gluten free options. I enjoyed the gluten free bread that came to start. I couldn’t fault anything with the meal - each course was delicious and I appreciated being asked if we were ready for our next course which allowed us to have a small break before dessert. My husband tried the homemade ginger beer and a honey mocktail and enjoyed both. Overall we had a fantastic experience.

Outstanding food and even more outstanding service. One of our group had various food intolerances and the staff went out of their way to make sure her needs were met. With so many restaurants very cold during the winter I was pleased to note how warm and cosy this one was and when a door was left open the staff were straight over to close it. Would highly recommended a long lazy lunch here!

The venue and service were fantastic. However, the Menu was sparse and the food disappointing. After the second attempt to have my very small piece of rump steak cooked as requested, I couldn’t eat it because it was too tough and undercooked. I gave up and offered it to my husband to eat, after his very small main. The dessert was lovely but again, there were only two menu choice offerings. I left feeling completely ripped off (and hungry.)

Incredibly over priced ($85 ph for two courses) which would be ok if the food was not only just better than typical suburban restaurant fare. Very small portions and food over cooked and to add insult to injury tried to slip an extra bottle of $85 wine onto the bill. Stunning view only upside. Much better value options and better food to be had elsewhere in the regions

This was our second visit to Wills Domain, situated beautifully overlooking a valley & grapevines.
Saturday we had a late lunch, service was slow, having to wait to be seated, & for our orders. This could be because of staff shortages.
The food was a little lacklustre for me. I had the Patagonian tooth fish a thick firm white fish, I did like the Cabbage salad as a side, we were given the pork fat potato cake, because of the wait. Mr P was very happy he had the quail & strip loin, & dessert that he loved, Guava with custard apple. We were also given some complimentary shaved truffle, we thought wow, that’s so nice, but were very disappointed, very bland & no truffle smell or taste. Second time here was not as good as the first.

Seths Table - A real treat !
We enjoyed the 16 (or so?) tasting plates, served with a birds eye view of a fine tuned team of food experts. Being just one of six available seats, this is a total food and wine experience with the bonus of close observation of a highly professional and busy kitchen. Seth and his team are right in front of you - cooking and serving up absolutely delicious food, especially sea food, with good explanations of dishes and friendly smiles. Wine pairing was excellent and worth the extra money. We were particularly impressed by Seths manner and the number of times he used the words please & thankyou with his crew. Its an expensive afternoon but worth every cent to indulge in some real taste sensations!! Yuuumy ! Such a treat !

We had a wonderful family lunch and even my 3 year old grandson sat for 2 hours solid, while we enjoyed the service and food. The wines are beautiful and produce stunning.
However, the restaurant itself was a little cold (chic not cosy) and the prices to match. The food is of great quality (amazing) but when you look at the portion size I’m glad it was lunch . One small scollop for entree is my example. Don’t go if your looking for big portion size or your hungry.

What a wonderful afternoon we had at Seths Table. 15 courses over 3 and a bit hours, watching the talented and skilled kitchen and service staff do their thing. We also enjoyed some beautiful aged reds and honestly struggled to recall having a better lunch. The views, the service and of course, the food make this place a must visit winery/restaurant in the region. From start to finish the whole experience was first class. Seth is a maestro, conducting a finely tuned crew.
