We were staying at Cape Lodge, so rather than venture out on a cold and wet winter's night, we dined at the restaurant. The menu is quite small, but diverse enough to satisfy most people, while the quality of the food presented was superb. We can also recommend breakfast there with a choice of a great continental presentation or a... More

We dined here one night during a four night stay at Cape Lodge ... and I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it was! The food is beautifully presented, absolutely delicious and every dish is amazing! The staff are also as good as the food ... they're friendly and happy and it was a joy to have them serve... More

My husband and I recently visited the restaurant during a night at Cape Lodge. The service was excellent and the Four course menu that we chose was exceptional. We could not fault the evening and although we travel a lot we felt we could have been anywhere in the world. We will definitely be going back on our next special... More

Mid week dinner visit with my wife and a perfect setting, service and incredible food. It was worth it for the domestic credit! Highly recommended for a life treat. We will be returning for the Degustation. The little touches in the hor d'ouevres, gift chocolates, side dishes and positive table service tone were appreciated. The food was as perfect as... More

My husband and I are staying 3 nights in this luxury lodge. We have a massive king bed suite, no bath tub though. Staff members are friendly and bend backwards to accommodate our requests. Attentive housekeeping in tidying our room. We have had three fantastic dinner meals in their restaurant. One of the best duck confit dish I have tasted... More

We had dinner and breakfast at Cape Lodge Restaurant, both meals were absolutely outstanding. The minute we opened the front door we were greeted by a smiling staff that really took pride in there work. The setting is very nice overlooking a lake with lovely uncramped tables and settings. With help from our waiter to match the wine with our... More

This was our first visit to the Cape Lodge Restaurant, and our goal was to have a fine dining experience in the Margaret River region for dinner. This, we have found to be a supremely difficult task because 90% of the establishments seem to shut down after 5PM and the ones which remain tend to be pretentious, overly expensive and/or... More

We very much enjoyed this Saturday luncheon, which included a vegetarian cooking demonstration by Chef Michael Elfwing. Michael led us through the preparation and cooking of six outstanding meals, before we enjoyed our Long Table lunch. Cape Lodge wines accompanied our meal. This exceptional dining experience included a tour of the vegetable gardens, where we were delighted to pick up... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by one of our tour guides, and it certainly wasn't disappointing. We opted for the $160 pp degustation menu. My GF requirements were easily catered for. The meals were delicious, however I was struggling to get through them all by the end. My husband said the matching wines were a bit disappointing. The setting... More
