Food was good, big serving. There are mini museum and Rose Maze adjacent. Friendly waitress. Parking is convenient. Certainly a good location for quick pit stop to Albany or toward Perth. Enjoyed my stop at Kojonup.

Ideally placed for a coffee break between Perth and Albany. Finding good coffee in rural areas is difficult. This cafe is a great find, as service was excellent as was the coffee. The mocha walnut cake was tasty and gluten free. Well worth a visit.

Had to have a rest and restore stop from Albany to Perth. Surprisingly amazing homemade sausage roll and apply pie! Gone are the days of crap roadhouse diners in the middle of nowhere, I was so pleasantly surprised by the high standard of service, food and atmosphere (Surrounded by real lovely smelling roses) at a very reasonable price.

Stopped off whilst on our way from Albany to Perth. Friendly and polite staff, great café type food. Sausage rolls were magnificent - lovely pastry and lots of filling - must try one if you stop here. You also have a choice of warmed or cold. It was fairly busy but we still found a table inside with two chairs.... More

Stopped in on the way between Denmark and Perth. We received really friendly and attentive service. There were plenty of clean tables outside where the kids could play on the grass or in the nearby 'Rose Maze'. Our burgers were truly awesome - tasty and very generous. The kids had ham and cheese toasties which they loved.

We stopped by to have a quick bite on our way from Albany to Perth. Full house, so I guess this must be the best place to have lunch. The menu's simple, very nice ambience next to the beautiful rose maze. Coffee's strong. Good for drowsy drivers!

We decided to grab a quick bite to eat at the Black Cockatoo Cafe. The service was very prompt and professional. My turkey, brie and cranberry focaccia was the best I have tasted and my husband said his lamb and fresh mint was lovely too. To top it all off, our coffee came out extra hot as per our request.... Ending a holiday in Albany we were returning to Perth but decided to stop in Kojonup for break. We found the Black Cockatoo Cafe, a little off the main street of Kojonup. It looked busy and thought it may be too busy, then we noticed the outside area and decided to stay.Good decision. We requested, I dislike the word "ordered",... More

This cafe was always a hive of activity when we passed. We ventured in for lunch and was not disappointed. Tried one of their pies and it was the best I had ever tasted. You could dine inside or out. It is situated near the Rose Maze and Visitor Centre. Be warned that it seems to be always busy and... More
