Came here for dinner as a last minute decision on Friday night, staff were really friendly/passionate and the food was amazing I had chilli muscles and the cray fish, meals were filling and flavoursome! Lemongrass pannacota was a winner for desert👌🏻

Went here for dinner with my partner, the food is a bit pricey but sooooo worth it! The flavours in the meals are fantastic! The service is lovely and a very enjoyable place to go. Will definitely be back if we are ever there again.

Horrible food, horrendous service, rude and offensive staff (except for the waitress). Was recommended to go here by accommodation staff. Worst decision we made because it was the only downside of our otherwise fabulous 2 week trip. None of the food we were served was even slightly fresh with one dish being completely inedible. Staff were rude, aggressive and offensive.... More

As a whole the restaurants in Kalbarri are over priced, we ate twice at the Restaurant Upstairs and although the food was passable, not great, the price is I felt was over the top, this is not a city restaurant but a holiday destination, a two course dinner at $145 is I feel excessive, service OK (just) and only open... Recommended by the place we were staying at. The food was great and service prompt. A good range of food. Recommend the Singapore Crab softshell.

We stayed three nights in Kalbarri and we were two times at Upstairs restaurant. The menus are fresh and delicious. We had on one evening fish which was great and the other evening a lobster. Mark the owner of the restaurant was very polite and helped us with everything.

Another visit to Kalbarri, to Restaurant Upstairs and another great meal. The service by Maggi was excellent.

We had soft shell crab, lobster and Red Emporer for dinner and lemon grass pannacotta as dessert. All very delicious. Specifically the clams that came with the lobster in garlic sauce were great. The German waitress was very friendly and gave good advice. We would definitely come back!

Quality raw materials were wasted by nonexistent cooking skills. Stay clear til new chef or til more efforts being put in applying rudimentary cooking.
