Nestled in the heart of Denmark, Southern End Restaurant and Function Centre is a hidden Beauty waiting to be discovered. Glass windows frame the country-style building, providing stunning views - layers in fact - of garden, forest and ocean that will captivate and amaze. The spectacle alone makes it an ideal location for weddings, birthdays and other momentous occasions. Coupled with the sensational food and function AND CORPORATE facilities, this is a venue too perfect to dismiss. The function centre is very popular place for weddings in the immaculately landscaped gardens, overlooking the Great Southern Ocean and Wilson Inlet. Then celebrate the day away in the classic white-walled function centre. Everything can be arranged for you, from the ceremony and flowers to the wedding cake. There are two chefs, based in the restaurant, who will happily design a menu to suit your occasion. All the standard function facilities are available, including a built-in projector, large screen and speakers. The restaurant, which is separate to the function area, seats up to 140 people and features predominantly local produce, including beef, chicken and fish with vegetarian and gluten free options. Outside, there's a playground for the youngsters and a garden piazza where local artists regularly entertain during the summer. Indoors, a piano and log fire create a warm ambiance during the winter. This is a one of a kind for its area. The team is keen to make it the number one spot for functions down south,

Great views

a 5 star rating for the view but a 3 1/2 / 4 star rating for the food. I thought the food and service was pretty average. It had the feeling of cost cutting rather than excellence. The whole restaurant furniture and decore could do with an upgrade

We came here after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and really glad we did. We were greeted straight away by a friendly server and given a choice of seating. We chose outside overlooking the amazing rolling hills. The service was very prompt and the food was just delicious. I had the chicken burger which was very tasty, all fresh ingredients... More

We came to celebrate our anniversary and were not disappointed. The food was beautifully prepared, fresh and delicious, the views over the hillside were just gorgeous, we had attentive wait staff, absolutely no complaints. Wonderful experience, thanks to all.

Went for dinner. There was a small reception on at the same time so thought the service might be a bit slow but we were pleasantly surprised as we were served promptly. Good food. Lunch would have been a better option to enjoy the views.

We booked for 7 pm and had a phone call asking to come at 6 .30, we though oh good they must be busy , get there at 6.30 and was out right next to the only people in the restaurant, it had no atmosphere and we felt like they wanted to close early , I understand that if your... More

I have always been happy with this restaurant - up till now. I ordered the salad, the spinach with roast beetroot, roast sweet potato, pine nuts and crumbled fetta - with the chicken extra..., i also had a glass of diet coke... Upon paying the bill $31.00!!! i nearly died... I expected the salad to be around $22 - $24... More
