Nothing special about this place. Food was okay, service was okay. Everything could have been better but I've had worse. Certainly nothing to write him about.

Nice old pub with interesting decor. I went on a Wednesday night and it was almost full. The food was great and the serving size are good.

Didn't really get to many different meals. The parmigiana was massive!! And pretty nice too. The eye fillet (i think it was an eye fillet, can't remember) was really nice and well cooked, very tender. Will definitely be back.

Closest thing to a real English pub we have ever been to without trying to be an English pub! Plus it is the best gastro pub in these parts without trying to be a gastro pub! Excellent atmosphere, excellent food, friendly staff and great choice of beers. I recommend this pub so highly!

Went for dinner. Make sure you book ahead. Waitress was wonderful. Friendly and with personality. Meals were huge and reasonably priced. Warm and comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

We had a lovely meal, sitting next to the open fire place. The food was amazing and we couldn't fault a thing. The staff were lovely and really hospitable. We will definitely return on our next trip to the area.

Had lunch with a group of friends and found this place to be warm and cosy on a cold winters day.The place has a warm and appealing feel to it with multiple fire places a bit of old world charm. Our meals were delivered with a minimum of fuss and everyone enjoyed what they had ordered. The only negative was... More

Beautiful old pub. Loved the warm, inviting atmosphere, knew I wanted to eat there the minute I walked in the door. Menu great and prices very reasonable. Food was excellent. We had grilled fish and chicken parma, both extremely tasty. Service efficient and friendly. We will definitely go back again.

17 of us dined here and the food was amazing! Multi rooms some with welcome open fires burning on a cold winter night. Great bar area if you need to wait for a table and helpful staff. Meals are massive. I had the Parma which was nothing short of ginormous! And don't be fooled into having two entrees because you're... More
