We had lobster tails - very fresh and tasty - good chips - too many for me! - and peas Good service An interesting experience and well worth going if you are staying on the island They serve the local wine - which is very good - my husband spent the rest of the week drinking it!

Huge battered fish, nice chips & peas. There is a menu if you want something else, including lobster. Get's pretty busy, so good to book. Really enjoyed our meal after walking the lenght of St Martin twice that day 1

Fish and Chip restaurant that opens on specific days. The fish was so light and tasty, the chips cooked to perfection. Simple food fresh and cooked to perfection. Oh and lovely service friendly service to boot.

Stayed in st Mary's but came on a supper boat. Had to preorder the food when we booked the trip, shame we weren't made aware of the whole menu as lobster scampi sounded amazing, sadly we were only made aware of fish and chips and it was too late to change the order (this may not have been the fault... We visted this very interesting cabin-style restaurant twice while on holiday in Scilly, in July and August. Locally caught fish, chips from pototoes grown on St Martins and selling wine from the vineyard occupying the next door plot of land, makes the experience all the more virtuous, The fish was prepared in a light, non-greasy batter (likewise the lobster tails... Dropped by here for meal and a ceilidh - lovely evening all-round. Fish and chips were good but vegetrian alternative of a veggie burger with no bun was disappointing.

My husband and I ate here during our stay on St Martin's last week and we absolutely loved it. The food was fantastic and great that we could also get a bottle of wine from the vineyard next door to go with it. The atmosphere was buzzing and the staff very friendly. I'd definitely recommend booking in if you're fortunate... More

Very good, fresh fish and chips offered to eat in or take away at this restaurant in Higher Town. Lobster, sausages and other chip shop fare are also available. They also offer a selection of bottled beers and wines from the vineyard next door, along with a number of desserts. Seating is available indoors, or on the outdoors covered patio.... More

As features in BBC Coast Programme. If you are staying on St Martins, you will certainly end up here anyway. There is a limited menu. It's fish and chips or lobster tails and chips. Peas come with both. There are usually a couple of sweets and local ice cream. What they do, they do superbly. I always have the lobster... More
