Our favourite pub and so hoped new owners would replicate the high standards previously experienced. Happy to say standards have not slipped. Warm welcome, delicious lamb and beef on offer. Portions are generous and good value for money. Nice wine at a fair price. Very popular with locals so best to book if travelling over from St Mary's. Highly recommended.

You need to plan a trip here carefully to take account of the ferry times from St Marys, but it is well worth the visit with good food and a selection of real ale. Seating is available both inside and out, if the weather is good the external seating offers great views. I believe this is the most westerly pub... More

This charming pub has a wonderful sea view. We just had a drink here but they do serve food at lunchtime and in the evening and the menu looked enticing as did the food other people were eating (we were still too full from our breakfast). There is a nice outside area with tables and the inside of the pub... More

The Turk's Head staff provided us with a warm and friendly welcome. The ambiance is second to none whether you stay inside or go outside to take in the views.

This was a busy pub - lots of local there for Sunday lunch - eating the full roast which look lovely. Ploughmans et were v generous and wholesome. Good menu -friendly s ervice, perhaps a little slow but that was because it was busy

Stayed on St Agnes recently and visited the pub on 3 occasions, twice for an evening meal and once for lunch, All the food we had was cooked fresh to order and there was plenty of it. For lunch we were fortunate to sit outside and admire the beautiful view on a sunny day. Staff were very pleasant and helpful... More

We stopped at the Turks Head for lunch during our guided tour of the island with George Teideman ( do take one of his tours if you have the chance. They are excellent, and profits go to the Children's Hospice South West). We were warmly welcomed by the owner - a charming woman. The setting for the pub - a... More

We visited on the supper cruise from the Boatman's Association. Although busy the food was plentiful, tasty and served quickly. There was plenty of time to look around St Agnes and the surfaced lanes were easy on our feet. (A few more signposts would help the first time visitor with a boat to catch but I suppose too many signs... More

One of the best pubs in the UK and most definitely the best waiting room (you can see your boat coming from St Marys from a pint away!)! The pub is set on the slight hill, just above the landing jetty and offers great views across the sound to The Gugh and St Marys. The beer is excellent as is... More
