We would have ,loved to eat lunch here a week ago. Unfortunately, due to a COVID restrictions, they would not let us in to the outside restaurant as we had no proof of ID although we offered credit cards with our names in and mobile...phone numbers. Most restaurants obviously need, quite correctly, names and contact phone numbers in these times but we always lock our passports in the hotel safes so do not carry that type of ID. We did not have this ID problem with anywhere else we ate at on the Amalfi Coast, such a shame!More
We stumbled onto this restaurant away from the heavily-trafficked tourist area on Via Orlandi. Part of a hotel, this restaurant sits in the middle of a beautiful lemon grove providing for a relaxing garden feel, very different from a typical restaurant. Linda had a delicious...and very generous portion of tuna tartar and I enjoyed a fabulous tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad. Both were creatively plated. Friends suggested a bottle of Fior Duva (a local white wine by Marisa Cuomo) which perfectly complemented the food and setting. A lovely and memorable lunch experience!More
We were here for a dinner as part of our honeymoon. We were dressed accordingly and were were polite and thankful for everything. The place is beautiful, the service was good until we ordered a not so expensive wine. After that we were ignored (e.g....literally ignored, not asked for dessert nor getting limoncello as other fancy tables). We left there a lot of money (I mean for us, and compared to other really good restaurants in Italy) for bad service and hardly better than average food. We were disappointed, but realised that if you are rich and/or looking rich, than it could be a very good place to have a dinner since they will serve you for your money. Other young couples at other tables were treated like us, older and/or wealthier couples were served in a good way, so it could be a very good place for dinner but not for us this time. Not recommended for common people.More
You can realize your dreams of dining beneath lemon trees at this restaurant in Anacapri. You will find a beautiful environment, a helpful waitstaff and some good food here on one of the pedestrian streets.
Our first course of gnocchi with guanciale and zucchini flowers...was good and the cured pork cheek added an meaty taste. My plate of roast rabbit breast is a dish nearly impossible to find in America. The meat was rolled in herbs and served with roast potatoes and the ubiquitous sauteed zucchini. Tender and delicious but topped with the driest and most tasteless slices of truffle that I've ever encountered.
My sweetheart needed a break from seafood and ordered a tender beefsteak cooked perfectly medium rare and also served with sauteed zucchini.
You will find an extensive wine list here. A nice bottle of rosso di montalcino was fine a medium bodied compliment to the meal.More
Set amidst a lemon grove with very lovely lighting this place is classy and quite private. Good wine list if a little pricey and a creative local menu. I had risotto that was creamy but still respected the rice. My wife’s ravioli was fresh and...tasty.More
Loved this quaint and beautiful restaurant. The lemon pasta was outstanding and probably because of the lemons used from the fresh lemon garden with restaurant is set within. It’s a beautiful place to go with friends, family, children, a date etc.
The waiters were all...very polite, and very good. We would have visited again had we had the time.
