First of all, the soul of the restaurant are the hardworking staff members such as Señor ygo and Señor Corrado and many more which I didn't came in direct contact with. They service makes the attraction of this marvellous Cousy place great, and on top of that, the food is fantastic! We melted down with the choices of pizza's, which you can see how it is prepared and baked in a traditional stone oven. And if you are lucky enough, they let you make your own pizza with a big broad smile. Try the mixed seafood salad, its .............heavenly delicious!!!

As we walked around Anacapri, trying to find a good place for lunch and avoid tourist traps (no just let me walk, I don’t want to eat lunch there unless I’ve seen a menu! Stop hassling me!) we came across Aumm Aumm and went inside. We were seated outside (nearly alone!) by some lovely lemon trees (such big lemons!) and taken care of immediately. We were recommended the bruschetta and got it. And you should too, it was amazing. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. We regretted not getting a half liter of wine and ordering two glasses, but we were In luck as our helpful waiter changed our order to a half liter because “it’s cheaper this way” and we very much appreciated FINALLY not feeling ripped off in capri. The wine was also delicious. We had the Pappardelle alla Bolognese and the Pennette Aumm Aumm and each item was exceptional. The prices were also a bargain for the great food we got. As we were leaving, the bartender asked us if we’d gotten any limoncello, and as we hadn’t he invited us to sit down and try what we THINK was some meloncello (made in house as well!) and wow was that a great way to end a meal. Just so delicious and we had a second one each as well. Got to chatting with now our bartender (Salvatore!) and found out that his uncle owns a restaurant close to where I grew up. So we’re planning a visit there too when I go back home. So to our waiter (who alas we did not get his name, but he was great!) and to Salvatore: thank you. You made our short day on Capri just a little more magical. And we appreciate it. When we’re back on Capri, we will definitely be visiting you again. And to those reading this long review: please visit this wonderful restaurant, you won’t regret it.

I have been here with some friends more than once during my journey in Capri. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the quality and service of this restaurant. The location is also nice in the inside gardens there are lemon trees and it is cool. The food was excellent, we ate appetizers and first dishes (not pizza), high quality and fresh food. The price is also in line with the expectations by the menu, however, we suggest you to ask the price before ordering dishes out of the menù (we have proposed some first course meals and we paid more than expected). Overall, anyway, since the quality was fully satisfactory we were happy with all.

Happy birthday to me!!! I celebrated my 44th birthday with the staff at this restaurant in Anacapri in March before the Covid-19 shut down Italy. These are just about the nicest people you are ever going to meet. The fresh roasted vegetables and fresh mozzarella were to die for. We had beautiful homemade ravioli and strawberry tiramisu. Also, amazingly top notch. Ask to sit in the back as they have a really nice cozy courtyard. One of my best experiences dining in Italy. We can’t wait to visit their sister restaurant in South Florida, USA when everything opens up. If you’re visiting Anacapri you don’t have to look any further than this ristorante. Arrivederci!

Amazing tasty napolitan style pizza and simple superb tasting salad. Served in 5 minutes!!
The restaurant is a little too simple and atmosphere may not be that warm but the food is excpetional. Probably the best pizza of my life ( so far)...

A friend and I ate here last night and it was PERFETTO. Excellent portion sizes and the house wine was beautiful. Everything was fresh and delicious. This is a family run business and each member we encountered was lovely. If you want authentic Italian in Capri- this is the place! The owner was very sweet and even gifted us some homemade meloncello as a digestif. You must go!

The restaurant is absolutely incredible! From the breathtaking outdoor tables surrounded by vibrant lemon trees creating the perfect southern italy ambiance any local and visitor is dying to experience. To the delicious food the chefs cook, there has never been a bad meal at Aumm Aumm we had the best food accompanied by their delicious limoncello spritz. The staff are always so lovely and the owner Salvatore always welcomes us back with open arms, great conversation and has a true interest in his customers satisfaction.
I can without a doubt say that I will be returning to Aumm Aumm every time I visit Anacapri. The food quality is without a fault, fresh food cooked the true Italian way! I highly recommend their parmigiana alla melanzane and theirs ricotta and zucchini flowers pasta dish. If you are looking for a place that has a local feel Aumm Aumm is the right place for you.

This place was hands down amazing! I have been traveling around Europe for 4 months now and this is one of the best meals that I have had! Walking past it we were unsure because it said Pizzeria and we weren’t in the mood for Pizza. However, the menu had multiple options. We sat down outside in the back which was surrounded by lemon trees, beautiful atmosphere. They brought us free focaccia bread, which was to die for and a cheese appetizer. For lunch we got the squid, pasta with Bolognese, and pasta with clams. Everything was so fresh and we couldn’t stop ourselves from ordering more. We ended up getting this lemon dessert which just melted in our mouths (dessert pictured bellow) . After that the waitress brought us multiple local drinks to try, on the house. Also, the house wine was so good. The staff was amazing and wanted to learn about you which made us feel very welcomed. It was one of my best dining experiences and I’m truly sad that I won’t be able to come back here for years. This is a MUST GO TO SPOT when in Anacapri.

We ordered 2 pasta dishes- a tomato-based eggplant penne dish and the zucchini pasta. Neither were very good, but what really stood out was the service; the two servers were not just unfriendly, they were rude. As in, rude comments and hand gestures for no reason whatsoever. We arrived when only one other table was occupied, but when we asked to sit at a table bordering the grass and lemon trees we were told that those tables were reserved and that the restaurant would be very busy that night. Thirty minutes later, a couple asked for the same table and somehow it wasn’t reserved anymore- they were immediately seated. Food was meh, service was aggressively bad. Skip it.

I start from the assumption that the pizza was acceptable and given the high costs of the product we would expect impeccable service.
To begin with they didn't register the reservation, the pizzas arrived after about an hour, almost cold and the drinks had become hot.
When I asked for spicy oil, I received a flavourless concoction.
Terrible experience!!!

If you want to go to a really good pizzeria/restaurant and you don’t want to be right in the middle of everything when you get to Capri (The tourist traps)… This is the place for you! The staff was very friendly the food was fairly priced and the location is phenomenal. You will be eating in the middle of a lemon Grove and the music was wonderful also. Ask for Salvatore And you will not be disappointed at all!

Nice and friendly staff . The Caprrese salad was good and the pasta too. The pizza - totally disappointment..less than average. Absolutely nothing to do with the good Italian pizza. I'm sorry, it wasn't baked in the middle..the vegetables and mushrooms was soaked in the dough..And the prices- like in a good restaurant..Bad value for the money

Excellent low-key restaurant in Anacapri filled with local Italians. The pizza, pasta and rucola salad were amazing. And the homemade red wine was decent. We had 2 pizzas, salad, pasta, 1L red wine all for €86. Great deal. Though the front of the restaurant looks uninviting, the lemon-tree garden in the back where they served the food was very enjoyable and quaint.

I was encouraged by the many positive reviews, we arrived very late at 2.15am and we were immediately seated by very kind people, from the girl who was at the till to the waiters, we ordered an octopus with salad, an Italian fry and two spaghetti with the clams I must say that everything was truly delicious as well as very filling. I will definitely return

We stopped in for lunch while on a day trip to Capri.
This restaurant is located in Anacapri and slightly outside the busy tourist area but well worth the walk to get there.
We ordered a mixed salad with burrata cheese, and the classic margherita pizza with anchovies, lemon dessert and drinks.
After the first slice my wife and I turned to each other and said this was the best pizza we’ve ever had! We’ve enjoyed pizza all over Italy including Naples and Rome, as well as NY and Chicago.
We could taste the fresh ingredients on our salad and pizza.
We finished off our lunch with a delicious lemon dessert and two lemoncello drinks which by the way were also the best we’ve tasted.
Salvatore is a gracious host, and along with his staff share a passion for what they do.
Thanks you for a great lunch experience.
