The dishes served are exquisite and very tasty. The level of service is taken care of by professional F&B Manager Mr Gaetano de Maio.

The Terrazza di Lucullo is the best spot on Capri for a dinner with a spectacular sunset. The food is excellent and meets the highest expections! A real treat.

A special experience to dine outside at a private table at the pool. Even though it was early September I found it quite chilly which spoilt the experience a bit. We selected a menu from the chef and did enjoy the food. We expected to...have complete privacy but very near our table there were lounge chairs at a patio were people did go to. So for a next time I would not order a private table again. We did like aperativo time before dinner and enjoyed the sun set so definitely make sure to arrive early.More

We had a wonderful Chef's Dinner here with many courses and our own personal server. The food was amazing and was a little bit of everything from the sea and very unique. The atmosphere was to be remembered forever! Definitely worth it!

Incredible views at this restaurant, matched by great service and food. Great wine list. Worth a trip to see the beautiful hotel, especially the terrace with it's spectacular views.

Booked online at this restaurant looking for good food and a view. And we got both! Views are amazing. Came in just a little after sunset, but the colors in the horizon were spectacular for at least 30 more minutes. Food was exceptional: risotto, ravioli...caprise, lamb and white fish dishes. Small portions, but flavors were outstanding! Francesco and Viviana were amazing servers, to the last of the details of our meal. Now, here comes the reason why we did not 5-star our experience. The split heart comes from the attentions from the maître d’, Cayetano. Totally ignored us from the beginning. Never greeted us, while obviously being very pleasant to other guests. Not clear why. We were not as dressed up as other guests (just returning from il grotto) and we were not hotel guests either (restaurant in Cesare Augusto Hotel). None of these two are posted restrictions when you place the reservation using The Fork, though. At the end of the night, the euros that we paid for dinner are as good as everyone else in the restaurant. Kudos for Francesco and Viviana and the chef! Not so for Cayetano!More

We had a fabulous lunch, sea bass superb, caprese salad sublime and pasta perfect. View of Vesuvius, Naples and Ischia one of Italy’s greatest. Service was attentive and good humoured. Grounds of Caesar Augustus interesting to walk around with lovely art, gardens and views. An...oasis of calm and tranquility. Booked online the day before. The highlight of our day trip to Capri.More

We absolutely loved our dinner experience at this restaurant. The ingredients are at the center of each dish. Ordered the Scallops, Seared Tuna, Ravioli, White Fish and Rabbit. All a treat. The tomatoes used in some of the dishes are fresh from the garden. Francesco...and Gennaro served us and treated us so well. They knew how much we loved the tomato and made us a special tomato sauce dish to try. The location of the restaurant is serene and beautiful. Try to make it before it gets dark. A highly recommended experience while in Capri.More

We booked a table here from Australia 6 months in advance. We were greeted like royalty and sat on the terrace perched way above the Blue Grotto with views to Naples and Mt Vesuvius. Attention to service was impeccable. Our glasses were instantly refilled and...empty plates removed with no signs of “hovering“. We were lucky enough to get a whole turbot which was presented on a large silver platter and then served up for us by our personal waiter who had spent several minutes making the lemon dressing for our radicchio salad in front of us. This is an extremely well presented location and not for the thong and t shirt brigade. It has an air of class that is evident in the venue and the service. Collarless linen shirts with long white slacks are the go here. Loved the experience. Hope we can make it back.More

I am not for sure of the chef’s table but the location was in a cave like room that overlooked the Mediterranean. It was the most amazing sight and food I’ve ever had

I doubt it. The restaurant dining tables outside are close together. I believe however there were ashtrays at the outdoor bar/ lounge area- which is beautiful. I saw people eating at that bar so it might be an option for you... More
