We live right around the corner so it is very convenient, but we have been going there ever since they opened after Sandy Hit us very hard. The food is always great and the people who work there are also absolutely great! Then there are...the owners, Wallace and Lila, they are awesome. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from in our area and we most always choose The Seagull.More

We enjoyed our food and the waitress was excellent. However, the employee wearing a Trump t-shirt claiming the 2020 election was fraudulent was pretty offensive to us.

I will agree with others who have commented on how nice the view is. The owners need to turn off the news blaring on the outside deck. Diners should not have to ask for that to happen. Shouldn't be on---period! The food, however was rather...so so. One order of chicken wings and a lobster roll. The wings were nice and crispy which was a good start but it was not cooked in a sauce---that was provided on the side. Tasted like a bottled sauce like Heinz---nothing homemade and pretty doubtful that the wings were either. The lobster roll which cost $34.00 should have had a toasted buttered roll. The French fries---not homemade---were way too salty to eat.More

Arrived by boat, many slips available. We were quickly met by staff to sit us down. Young bus boy Thomas, was very nice and helpful, respectful and wearing a mask. The waitress Kate, was helpful and service was quick. We go there about twice per...month and are never bored with the menu because they always have so many specials. Its a great place for a small party or intimate dinner. The seafood is always fresh and the chicken avocado sandwich is delicious. When eating at the bar, the bartenders are attentive and fun especially Janet.More

My fiancée and I were looking for a new dog friendly restaurant and came across this place on yelp. Just to make sure I called to double check if it was okay. They said no problem but we can only sit outside this is typical...the norm at any place we've dined so of course no problem with us. The place isn't on Babylons Main Street it's further down and away from any restaurant. Nice cozy off the beaten path restaurant. When we went in I knew we picked the perfect place! They have an in house dog named Sadie she was so cute! Our pup immediately went over to her. This place isn't a fancy seafood place but a rather a quaint place. They had a lot of specials on the board that we were interested in so we ordered everything from there. Okay now let's get to the food! Half dozen little necks- Fresh and sweet French onion soup- Delicious! And yum so much cheese! They use a lot of thyme which I like but they didn't remove the long stems. Fried cauliflower- loved the batter on this and although fried did not taste oily! The dipping spicy sauce was awesome! Caprese salad- it was good nothing much to write about it other than good. Lobster Mac and cheese- I loved the Mac and cheese! So cheesy and tasty! Wasn't too crazy about the lobster it was also over cooked. I wouldn't preferred it without the lobster. Service- no issues there the woman taking care of us I believe she's one of the owners was incredibly sweet! Overall, I look forward to coming back here!More

The menu special had Lobster roll on top then another special underneath it.The price to the right said 17 dollars. When the bill came my Lobster roll was a whopping 29 dollars. I mentioned this to the waitress and told her I wasnt happy She...went looked at the board came back and declared that it looks like they forgot to write it down. At 29 dollars im not surprised because no one would order it.The real kicker is when I got home I broke out in a cold sweat and vomited.Either bad Lobster or mayo.I have been going to this place since it was Charlies bait and boat rentals. Not anymore. You got me once there will not be a second chance.More

This is a great spot on the canal. They have a steel drum player on sundays from 4-7. I had the crab BLT and a coconut martini. Both delish! My hubby and brother had the grouper which they enjoyed. Nice place that makes you feel...like you are away somewhere.More

This place is a great. The food is excellent! And great pricing. Definitely just go for any specials they have, you will not be disappointed. If you love seafood..ask them what the seafood special of the day is, you cant go wrong. The owner Wally,...his wife and their lab Sadie, will welcome you any day of the week. This place has plenty of docking for your boat, and has a nice separate big bar/TV's to watch your sports. Inside dining room with great open water view windows plus, the big hit, huge outdoor on the water "Jimmy Buffet Island Beach Vibe Deck" , with a waterfront tiki bar. Have a beer at the tiki bar on the deck and check out this place.More

This restaurant is located on the inlet acroos from the Bergen Point Golf Club. Nice atmosphere, but somewhat pricey. My wife snd I had two Cobb Salads we had a beer and a White Sangria. The price with a 20% tip was $56.00 The food...was good and the waitress was very good. I think they could trim down the pricing a litle. But it wasn't terrible They had a Surf & Turf for $58.00 But it wasn't terrible. We sat outside on the deck, decent view.More

We had a late lunch-early dinner on a recent Saturday. The sun was shining but it was a bit cool outside. We were seated promptly and waitress brought over menus. The selection is very limited, but that's a positive in my book (few items but...done well!) We shared the raw clams which were delicious. I did ask the server if they were little necks, but they were not. They were very tasty and delicisious nonetheless. Hubby had a fried fish sandwich and I had the sliced tuna over grilled pineapple. What a great combo and the tuna was encrusted on the outside with sesame seeds and served black & blue (seared on outside and pink on the inside) and laid over a large round grilled slice of pineapple. Super delicious and enough for me for a meal. My only concerns could be limited parking and someone had a large dog in the first dining room which I am highly allergic and was not pleased to see a pet in the restaurant. Otherwise, the food was good and the view even better!More

It was the first summery day of the season and we were ready to celebrate. We had a great lunch and drinks on the dock at The Seagull with a table overlooking the water. We had Raspberry Martinis, a salad, mussels in white sauce and...the lobster roll to split. The lobster roll was fantastic! The white sauce for the mussels was ok—not a white wine sauce, it was a thicker sauce that wasn’t what we were expecting bu still good. The outdoor nautical vibe with tiki bar is sure to be. Summer favorite.More

Have been to Seagull a few times, most recently last week. Though they were a bit backed up because of a large party that did not have a reservation and they were already out of some of the specials, it was still a good night...and our server was fantastic. I had the lobster roll special on this particular night and it was fantastic! It was a bit of a different take on a lobster roll (e.g., diced green apples), but it worked. Fresh calamari app and crab cakes were good. They had a bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp app that I did not care for. It had horseradish in it and the flavors did not mix well at all. That said, overall it was very good.More
