Stopped for lunch whilst visiting Saint Emillion and this square of outside dining looked very inviting. Had the choice of menu from two different restaurants which was quite unusual and meant we had far greater choice. Food was average / quite forgettable and the service was slow. But they were very busy. Definitely recommend visiting Saint Emillion but would suggest... More

What a wonderful restaurant with a beautiful outside seating area overlooked by the Monolithic Church in the heart of St Emilion. The waiting staff are always so friendly and the food is truly divine - the duo of salmon and sea bass tartare is definitely a firm favourite. I go back every time I am in St Emilion and all... It was summer and a gorgeous day and therefore St Emilion was crowded as were all the restaurants for lunch on the day we visited. To be fair the staff were incredible considering the huge volume of diners they had to look after and the service was good. Our entree was delicious - warmed Camembert with honey and rosemary but... Outside location is really nice. Unfortunately the outside area was full and we sat inside which was very underwhelming. Service average at best. Had to ask for cutlery for example. Quite slow for the food to arrive. This was probably the most expensive burger I had ever had (20 euros) and was very average. Was worth about 8 euros. Chips... More

We had food here one evening. Its a courtyard/terrace which is shared by about 4-5 other restaurants. Charming set up around trees and set on cobbles next to the old church. Most of the restaurants were busy (July) with mainly tourists. We were looked after by pleasant staff, menu was easy to understand (some aren't) and the food was good... More

Beautifully located in an old square right next to the monolithic church, this place is a proper tourist trap. Surrounded by artisanal macaroon producers and local wine retailers there are opportunities aplenty for any tourist to be parted with his/her money if, that is, they have any left following a meal here. It is undoubtedly a great spot to stop... More

We went to celebrate my daughter's medical degree success. Having been before we knew how good it used to be and looked forward to our meal. 10 mins after being seated, our waiter came to take our order, but left midway through to see to other tables, eventually I had to fetch him back to get him to finish our... Waiters more concerned to set up dinner service (at 1730h) than note we had been waiting already 10 minutes for sight of a drinks menu which eventually arrived after 2 requests. Had to pay before half of the order had arrived on our table. Lots of servers but no one taking responsibility. And then totally overpriced. Not the France nor... More

Italian salad, warm goat cheese and honey salad were delicious. Wait staff very attentive and recommended a nice wine. Our dessert was chocolate dome that was mouth watering.

Lovely place for dinner in the square in the center of town. The restaurant didn't have the wine we wanted, but the waitress recommended another white wine that was just as good. Food wise we went for the €33 menu which was good but not exceptional, you are after all paying a premium for the location. Service was good &... More
