Italian salad, warm goat cheese and honey salad were delicious. Wait staff very attentive and recommended a nice wine. Our dessert was chocolate dome that was mouth watering.

Lovely place for dinner in the square in the center of town. The restaurant didn't have the wine we wanted, but the waitress recommended another white wine that was just as good. Food wise we went for the €33 menu which was good but not exceptional, you are after all paying a premium for the location. Service was good &... More

Stop here for a early dinner with a little wine . It was really local and a little bit of fun also Like all of St Emillion the building was ancient that added to the uniqueness . Truly a neat fine , Sue and I well remember for a long time

Table of 8. Positives: potatoes were lovely. Negatives: Took a very long time to give us menus and take our order. We ordered a salad which had tasteless chicken. We also found a slug in the salad. Although we complained, we received no apologies and waiter took the dish away without replacing. We also ordered a medium and a medium... More

We had a spot of late lunch here on one of the last days of our little 3 week European driving holiday. We had the Menu Du Jour and The €20 Menu with an excellent bottle of wine. The food was tasty, the outside buzz and ambience of the place was lovely. Definitely worth a visit - nothing over the... More

We had dinner outside with a magnificent view of the church. The place is not very fancy, and we did not have great expectations: But the food and the service was remarkably good. Honest, well prepared french food. Not fancy, but cooked with knowledge and respect for the ingredients. The waiter seemed a bit uninterested to start with, but was... More

Having just arrived in St Emilion we headed out for steak our absolute love. Le Bouchon did not disappoint! Beautiful roasted baby potatoes with a perfectly cooked - if for me a slight bit fatty piece of steak. We enjoy medium to rare but asked for medium to air on the side of caution and it was perfect. Good service... More

we had to wait 15 min to be attended, then 20 min more until we discover that the waiter forgot what we ordered. Pizza was nothing special, it was not cooked enough. They don't have wifi.

The food was great, the view of the monolithic church was nice, the atmosphere was okay. Overall it was pretty good. It was way too expensive.
