Sat on the terrace which was a nice intimate setting. Very good and attentive service. Wine gorgeous. Meal was enjoyable though limited offer.

Such a charming, wonderful place. We had reservations for four, and upon arrival were asked if we would like to dine in the wine cellar. Why yes of course! Jean Claude (owner) was so accommodating and gracious. The wine list is spectacular, and the food is very reasonably priced and has a great variety. We all had the pre-fixe menu... More

Lovely experience. Great staff and owner. He is obviously very proud and so he should be. The restaurant is small and cosy. I have had better food but it was still good and still believe we picked the best restaurant in St. Emilion.

We ordered the Menu Terroir. We used the English menu thinking it would eliminate any misunderstandings. Despite very pleasant wait staff the menu is misleading. I have included photos. The major deception was the entrée, coq au vin. When it arrived we looked at each other like "what is this". It was not chicken. It was pig knuckle or some... More

Great little restaurant located on one of the streets with a steep incline. We were very impressed with their ability to accommodate our party of 24, working with us to adjust the booking at the numbers were changing, and most importantly being so welcoming and accommodating on the day of the dinner. It took our group almost an hour to... More

Perched in the middle of a steep chemin, this green is probably the best St.Emilion centrum has to offer - which is actually saying quite a bit, as the town is full of great restaurants. Fantastic atmosphere. The service is stellar, personal, and almost formally perfect. The maître'd will even adjust your plates to the table edge ;) They take... More

There are many dinners in life, and a few you remember for years. Tonight was one of those special evenings. We were seated in the back - cave walls with wine bottles everywhere. It was wonderful. The food was excellent (5*), seating was excellent (5*), service was very good (4*), pricey, but worth it. Especially the soufflé. 5*.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel . The food is real Bordeaux-French and complex regarding combination of ingredients. We took set menu and it was very tasty and interesting. I will not speak about wine because we are in the middle of Saint Emillion and if you do not find the wine which suits you than better drink plain... More

We sat in the wine cellar at the back of the restaurant which was perfect for 4 of us. The lunch daily menu is reasonably priced and the choice such that you didn't need to go a la carte. The food was fresh and well cooked. The wines were a good choice and served in good glassware which is always... More

Saint Emilion is known for its steep walks, and this gem of a restaurant is on what has to be the steepest. Be brave. Once inside you are greeted by a lovely, friendly staff, a beautiful interior shining with the very golden stone of the area and wonderful food. Every course a delight. This little gem is a must.
