Several of the locals recommended this place to us including their happy hour. This was our first time here. We recently came here at 4 pm for their happy hour on Thursday. We were here with another couple, who recommended this place to us. We...could have sat anywhere in the restaurant for happy hour. We sat at the bar, because our friends preferred the bar. I started with their Mai Mai My Darling (Bartender Ralph’s take on a Mai Tai) with Bacardi, Bacardi Black, pineapple juice, lime juice, Orgeat syrup, hibiscus water and lime. After that I switched to Ralph’s recommended The Man in Black with Old Overholt rye, Averna, Fernet Branca and black walnut bitters, which was much stronger. I preferred the latter. The cocktails were discounted 20%. I also enjoyed one of their happy hour special Nantuckets bouillabaisse with shrimp, sea scallops, middle neck clams, PEI mussels and local fish simmered in a tomato saffron broth with a dollop of Tucket’s aioli for $25. My entree came with one side. I opted for the grilled asparagus, which was tasty. After a sample test, I ended my dinner with their Evolution Exile 5.9% red ale on draft. Our well seasoned and experienced bartender Ralph was the most knowledgeable regarding their many cocktails, spirits, wines, draft beers and menu choices. Ralph guided me to their Man in Black cocktail, bouillabaisse and Evolution Exile, which I enjoyed. My total bill was $108 less gratuity for both of us. My party of five enjoyed our experience so much that we returned here for our second happy hour visit. This time there were six of us. I enjoyed my same cocktails and dinner. This time my total bill was $98 less gratuity. We all enjoyed our second visit.More

We tried Nantuckets for the first time. It was fabulous. The food was very delicious. I got the Soup of the Day - Roasted red pepper with crab. YUM !! My husband got the Quahog seafood chowdah and he loved it. We got the schmoozin's...(?spelling) for our meal and they were a perfect size. I got the Day Boat Sea Scallops and the DH got the shrimp and grits. We were pleasantly full. No room for dessert. The service was top notch. We will return many times.More

We found Nantuckets via OpenTable on a winter trip to the beach. My husband’s fish was excellent, and I ordered the coq au vin. It had clearly been sitting on the stove for a while, which meant that the sauce had reduced to a kind...of salty brown sludge that was disappointing. The service, however, was great.More

The entire experience was delightful. The waitress, hostess and staff members were very attentive and pleasant. LOVED the Quahog seafood chowdah!! Delicious!!! We ordered the Salmon salad which was also delicious. The only reason I’m giving a 4 out of 5 is because my husband...felt the dressing on the salad needed more taste. But we cook with a lot of spices, so we are a little picky that way. To me it was perfect. From what I could see of other people’s food, their dishes looked delicious as well. We will definitely go back!More

My wife and I had a delightful evening on 10/5. We arrived at our reservation time and was seated immediately. The dining room was quite busy but our waitress was able to keep up with a very large party and several tables. My wife had...the daily special of halibut and I had the cod. Both dishes were prepared very well and were hot when brought to the table. My wife raved about her fingerling potatoes side dish and green beans and my garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus were also very good. Wednesday is their $10 off a bottle of wine night which was an extra added bonus. When we're down at the beach, we always try to make a stop here and have enjoyed all of our meals. Another great dinner at Nantuckets.More

We go early and sit at the bar. We have been coming here for years. Bartenders are happy and glad to help and give information. We both had fillet mingon - it was good but chewy. Rest of the food was delicious. Happy hour is...20% off bottle of wine.More

My wife has been on me to go here and last night I finally gave it a try. We sat in the bar area which I thought was very appealing to the dining experience - the decor and overall atmosphere was inviting. I do agree...with one reviewer that said the portions are small and the prices are not cheap. However, with that being said, it is a dining experience and the food is very delicious and fresh. I ordered the scallops and shrimp over pasta and the portion was very big and it came with a side of asparagus - I was kind of surprised especially since my wife ordered scallops and there were only three in her dish. There are several dishes under $30, but realistically you should expect to spend at least $50/person for an entree and drink and maybe add $30 more if you want an appetizer and desert. This isn't much different than any of the other fine dining restaurants in the area. You can save some money by going during happy hour where you can get 20% off on a lot of the menu items and bottles of wine. Overall, it's worth a visit - date night/couples outing. I probably wouldn't have taken my son when he was smaller.More

Went specifically for Wednesday special of Lamb Chops for $25. When ordering, was told it was a 1/2 rack versus full rack (which is $35). Also, had a crab cake but it was only 4 oz (and questionable if that) which tasted fishy - not...sure how that could be unless they used fish as a filler! Rolls were good, but overcooked. Service was also slow. Doubt we will be going back.More

Stopped in for dinner because it is one of the few still open. Am so glad that we did. A very nice Reasturant. Our server was very attentive. My wife and I both had the house version of clam chowder, was delicious! We both had...the cast iron baked halibut. Was excellent! It was served with seasoned potatoes, and green beans. If you are in Ocean City is a great place to eat.More

Food was very good, but not outstanding, something we always experienced at Nantuckets. Ahi tuna was tasty. Scallops and shrimp pasta was just OK. Everything we had was good, but when we go out to dinner, we want to experience something we can't duplicate at...home. We felt we could have done a better job in our own kitchen. Cocktails were good as was the wine.More

We visit Fenwick Island annually except for the past few years. Went back this year. Had a nice stay, wanted to go Nantucket's for a drink and appetizer or dinner as we have done on recent visits. To our surprise it was closed Monday (Labor...Day) and Tuesday so we cheerfully set off to it on Wednesday, around 5:45 pm. In the past you could make reservations for the dining room but not for the bar area (pub/tavern). Hubby prefers the informal atmosphere of the tavern so we proceeded as usual to see if a table was available. Sign on the door said tavern seating is first come first serve please seat yourself. So we walked in and saw two open tables near the entrance. Proceeded to select the one for two when we were confronted by the hostess who said we could not sit at either as they were "reserved". We were surprised and taken aback by this. She told us we could wait for open seats at the bar or eat in the dining room. When asked about waiting for another table in the tavern we were told we could not as they were "all reserved" (all the tables for the rest of the night??) Hubby at this point had enough with the attitude and walked out. I spoke with the hostess explaining I did not think a tavern table could be reserved and there was a sign on the door "first come first serve". Was told yes you can reserve on Open Table or call. She then went to see the manager to see if anything could be done, after a while came back and said no, sorry, maybe next week. We were leaving the next day. Never did get an explanation for the sign on the door. Checked Open Table when I got home, did not see an option to specify seating in the tavern vs. dining room unless maybe use comments and good luck with that. Disappointing as we have been Nantucket fans until now, but did give us a chance to try another restaurant up the street where we were welcomed, seated quickly, and had a delicious, pleasant meal. We will not keep Nantuckets on our list when we go back to Fenwick but doubt they care. Glad there are many wonderful other alternatives appearing on the Fenwick dining scene.More

We were told upon arrival that we were in Pub room. Not what we made reservation for and did not want to sit at high top table in busy bar. Moved to dining room table right by the door. It wasn't terrible but lousy table...comparatively. Service was fine but our server was working a different room and we were only table in dining room for her. She did fine but it just seemed like we were an afterthought. It had been years since we had been here. It was okay but not nearly as impressed as previous visit. Food was very good but overall experience lacking. It makes a bad first impression when you come in for your dining room reservation and are told "we have you in the pub". There are other options in area and doubt I would return. I remember this being more of a romantic place for fine dining. Too many children there for that now.More

We really enjoy this restaurant but they really missed it this time. We (two of us) had a 7:00 reservation and arrived at 6:55. They were busy and were told we would be seated closer to 7. At 7:15, after we saw several tables of...4 be seated, we were asked if we would be seated in the bar. We agreed but the table was terrible. We were disappointed and were soon offered a table in the main restaurant, now 30 minutes after our reserved time. We felt the larger tables still received more attention. Some of these tables seated after us. While we enjoyed our dinner we still feel forgotten in Fenwick.More
