We ate at Wacky Wahoo's on our last night in Aruba. Since they are not taking reservations we arrived early, when they opened, as we did not want to stand outside waiting. We were seated within minutes, but by 6pm the line was large and...out the door. So, get there early if you do not want to wait. The food was amazing! We got the Barracuda, Wahoo, Grouper and the Seafood special (Barracuda with Shrimp & Lobster). All the food was great but actually, the Grouper was the best. Each meal came with rice, vegetables, cornbread and fried plantains. They provided garlic bread upon arrival which was to die for. I cannot believe that in the 15 years coming to Aruba this was our first visit to Wacky Wahoo's, but we will return again. It is a 4 minute drive from the Marriott high rise hotels/timeshares.More

One of the BEST restaurants in Aruba and reasonably priced, located near the Hi Rise hotel zone, up in Noord. Fish is fresh and prepared nicely. Portions are ample AND they serve fresh, lightly steamed vegetables. Service is prompt, attentive, and friendly. There's outdoor seating...as well as indoors. We had their crab soup one visit and it was beyond expectations. Their Wahoo is amazing. They have Heineken on tap, and its fairly priced. They have a good wine selection. One of the few Aruba restaurants we went to twice.More

The good: - barracuda was cooked perfectly - table bread was incredible - Riesling (low acidity but not overly sweet) - reasonable price point The not so good: - lobster was overcooked - rice and veggies were under seasoned - very aggressive flies if you...eat on their patio - small outdoor seating with a street view - not a lot of parking - limited dessert menu Overall: - would recommend, but probably wouldn't go backMore

Garlic bread was amazing! Of the many places that will serve you a $25 seafood platter, this one cooked it the best. Not to mention they offer Barracuda (so fun!). They serve their fish dishes in a few different style, but my favorite was the...Aruban style where they cover it in cheese – what isn’t to like. There are a select few outdoors tables (maybe 3) which is where we sat during Covid.More

Wacky Wahoo's is a little off the beaten path but SO worth it! The food is amazing! The moment you walk in the door of this casual restaurant you are instantaneously hungry from the wonderful smells. This is some of the freshest fish dishes we...have ever eaten! And the logo is awesome. My husband got a shirt because he liked it so much!More

Great food, had Beracuda for the first time, it was awesome. A little issue with the wine, but they took care of it. Bar tenders were fun. Meals are large enough to split

Great food. We had black bean soup, the fried shrimp appetizer, pan fried grouper (catch of the day), red snapper, dragon shrimp, and the jerk tenderloins . Everything was amazing. Service was not the best but they were super busy. our waitress got a lot...better as the place seemed to empty out.More

Just finished a great meal at Wacky Wahoos. Food was fantastic - tried Barracuda for the first time , highly recommended!!! The staff was very attentive and was always there to provide any service or explanation. We arrived at 5:30 and were seated immediately, by...6:00 there was line forming so highly recommend reservations. Great restaurant worth a visit!More

Delicious seafood! We went after hearing nothing but good things from the locals here in Aruba. Huge portions! Definitely try the Barracuda and the Wahoo catch of the day - delicious!
