Due the kind of hotels in Ein Bokek, the tourist seldom go out to eat, and that has the culinary standard in a very low level. This place could be the best around, yet if you put this restaurant in any other city, for sure will be bankrupt in less than 3 months. I think that speaks for itself... Food:... More

This restaurant is nice BUT they could do better, they have to choose either to do North Indian or South Indian. Right now, it's all mixed.

I see a lot of positive reviews of this restaurant. I can tell you that the ambiance and experience are a strong draw. But the food is below average. Married to a woman from the Middle East (Yemen/Israel), I can tell you that what we received was pretty poorly prepared. The meat was dry and the salads were flavorless. While... More

We came in with a huge group of people - we were touring around Israel with everyone there for our friends' wedding. The waitress complained a little bit because she didn't want to have to do the work for such a big group and the drinks took forever. However, the food was absolutely fantastic and came very quickly, I will... More

Serving many types and kinds of traditional Bedouin and middle eastern food. Grilled meat dished, an amazing variety of traditional salads and supplements. Coffee and sweets.

We went there on Friday night, it's very peaceful, very quiet there. I loved every second I was there, staff are really nice, we ordered steaks and it was delicious! Really recommended Would definitely come back.

Food was fantastic, atmosphere was very relaxing, and waiters were polite and very attentive. Great place to have dinner, lunch or any sort of meal especially given the fact that it could be way cheaper than dinner at your hotel.

Ein Bokek is a hotel complex by the Dead Sea with few independent restaurants. The Taj Mahal is one of the only free standing restaurants and it is a more pleasant, cheaper and better quality place to eat than the hotel restaurants.
