Wasn't planning on stopping but seen the sign & was curious. We were greeted as soon as we walked in & offered wine tastings. The gentleman who waited on us was knowledgeable & had a good sense of humor. We wound up leaving with an entire case of mixed wines. We were surprised to find this winery open mid-week in... More

Very quiet place for drinking and buying wine. Excellent knowledge with the wine also. The prices are reasonable.

German style foods, traditional Finger Lake wines, high overlooking Seneca Lake. Taste some wine and grab a bite to eat.

We stopped here and were not at all impressed with the red wine. I understand this is not a red area but we didn't really like any of them. I did have their chardonnay-riesling (i believe that's what it was - the first one on the list) and LOVED it. The bonuses here were the great service and the amazing... More

Great service, great wine a bit pricey. The place has a beautiful estate for those who enjoy scenic views while enjoying a glass of wine.

We drove out for food since it is listed as a restaurant, but got there and it was dead for a weekend. Come to find out, the restaurant has been closed so you should definitely call ahead to check. I was really looking forward to food from reviews before traveling. They should at least put a sign up in the... More

I've been to this winery on Seneca Lake several times; most recently in Feb 2016. Their wines are great; the staff is wonderful and they have a nice gift shop. Do stop and taste when you're in the area; you won't be disappointed. We have not been to the restaurant at Castel Grisch as it's seasonal.

Our first stop on a afternoon of tastings, coming from Watkins Glen. Nice facility up on the hill out of town, set up for larger groups as well as individuals. They are undergoing some renovations to the main restaurant (closed temporarily) and tasting spaces, which are shaping up nicely. Presented a nice selection of wines, a friendly host, a nice... This winery is off the road a bit but well worth the trip. Excellent wine options, nice view. Nice staff and beautiful facility. Set up for weddings. Highly recommend

The veiw was beautiful, and the wine hostess was very informative, a little construction was going on but they were very considerate of their guests. We even bought some wine before we left.

A gorgeous winery sitting in the hills of Seneca Lake. Customers can enjoy glasses of wine and small meals while enjoying the lake view on our deck. Wine tastings and a gift shop are also available to enjoy.
