Love the outdoor terrace here. The food is well prepared and fresh and delicious. Has a large menu and a small daily prix fixe. It is a small place owned by chef and server, I believe, if my translation is correct. English is spoken. Another do not miss.

Walking past this restaurant we glanced at the set menu advertised outside and carried on walking up the hill. As we passed the back there was this magnificent smell so turned around and went in. We got there at 2pm and they had already sold out of starters so only the plat and desserts were available which was fine with... More

We had a lovely meal here , with efficient service. There was nothing adverse. I particularly enjoyed the Pastis du Quercy

Our group unanimously elected this restaurant as the best of a trip full of good restaurants. The menu we selected was affordable and the dishes were appealing to both the eyes and the stomach. Service was top notch.

2016-07-18. The jaded traveller can expect a restaurant in a tourist magnet like Saint Cirq to serve mediocre food at exorbitant prices. Such is not the case with L'Oustal, a word in Occitan that signifies home and hospitality. We both had variations of the menu du jour and found them a gustatory experience where the whole was much more than... More

We had no great expectations for a meal in St Cirq. Its a beautiful place but very touristy and the weak coffee at the Auberge earlier that day did not auger well for dinner. However we stumbled across L'Oustal at the lower end of town and something about the place was inviting so we booked a table and to our... More

Wonderful food, a very imaginative chef; great wine, all served with a smile. The restaurant is tiny so it's better to reserve. In the summer, you can eat outside on the patio.

Very tasy food, good portions, friendly staff, good value. I always enjoy the Casoulet and Salad with smoked duck brest.

WE LOVED this place. The waitress was charming and accommodating. The 18-Euro lunch, served with local rose, was delicious. A salad plate to die for, freshly made soup of the day, generous plates of food--tender medallions of pork and a fresh trout, followed by an insane chocolate dessert--a Marquise--and a traditional Pastis--apples in milles feuille with caramel sauce and a... We booked 8 people for 8pm and were an hour late because we couldn't find it. Google maps for some reason was pointing us to a village 3 miles away. Even if you are in the right town it isn't easy to find and you have to walk some distance from where you can park your car. But when we... More
