Chanced upon this little restaurant when looking for somewhere to lunch. The terrace, poised up above the street, looked very inviting. Service was charmingly friendly and the food excellent: I particularly enjoyed the Makis du Chef - a light, tasty fish dish - with the...More

We chanced upon this little restaurant after we had climbed up, then down, from the view-point of St Cirq. We could smell delicious food and followed our noses to l’oustal, and by now felt we had earned a good lunch. It did not disappoint. A...More

Went for dinner and so pleased we found this lovely little restaurant on Trip Advisor. The food, location and staff were all first class. We had the set price menu which was excellent value for money. Would certainly recommend.

Stopped in early for lunch on a rainy day based in part on TripAdvisor reviews and an appealing menu. Wife had the best filet mignon de porc with figs and thyme we've ever had. Exquisite. I had a fish filet with a confiture des tomates...More

Trip Advisor has its quirks, but this restaurant really deserves its place near the top of the listings in Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. It's a small restaurant with a small terrace towards the bottom of the village. The location and views from the terrace are perfect. We arrived...More

We had a lovely dinner there last night. After a delicious foie gras, we had a generous size of 'magret de canard' (duck breast) with perfectly cooked vegetables. We were recommended a great local wine called Canon du Maréchal (IGP appellation Cote Catalanes) from Domaine...More
