Almost everywhere in St Cirq Lapopie was closed when we visited in March so we didn't have much choice. However we were not disappointed. The food, service and ambience was very nice. There is a choice of sitting areas depending on how cold you feel and so it was a cosy place to spend time. We were all very happy... More

We had the gourmet menu - 3 courses - at €27.50. Great value for substantial, beautifully cooked food based on local ingredients. Service was excellent. I'd prefer to give it 4.5 stars: the bread was okay (just okay), the water was cool but not cold. One of us had a duo of crême brûlées but couldn't taste the difference between... More

This restaurant has the same vibe as the Hotel Saint Cirq - not surprising as it (and the wine museum, and La Tonnelle) were developed by the same team, now managed independently (though co-operatively). This works well. I really enjoyed the meal here, the foie gras was excellent as was the Blanquette de Veau, and the Clafoutis - all well... More

Sat outside for lunch on a warm Monday. The food was without fault, charcuterie with salad too plentiful(that could be perceived as a fault...) followed by a superb coq au vin. Staff were helpful too and service was with a smile. The house wine was ok too. An enjoyable visit.

Tripadvisor had helped us research this area of France and we were not disappointed. A fabulous start to our holiday with a meal at this stunningly beautiful restaurant. Booking is advised but we took a gamble and had a table for 2 on the small terrace that only had 3 tables - very romantic. we were well looked after and... More

We ate here on the last night of our holidays, and took an outside candlelit table along one of the little streets that make up beautiful Saint Cirq Lapopie. The menu of the restaurant is a little limited but typical of all other restaurants in the village. Our starters of cabecou (cheese) salad and fois gras were very tasty. For... More

We sat outside with a nice view of the town. We picked the 2 course menu of the day which seemed acceptably priced. We were offered a interesting starter and some bread. Very generous portions were served. The local wine was not very exciting bit dessert was original. Out of the 2 waitresses that attended us one was much more... More

We came to this restaurant thinking it had good reviews. We were asked if we had a reservations, which we did not, and were seated reluctantly (though no one was there). After more than 15 minutes, we still hadn't even been served water. Left without trying. Totally snubbed.

Took the hotel's shuttle bus up to the village and enjoyed wonderful meal at this restaurant. The menu is traditional Quercinoise (probably spelt wrongly, sorry) and was very tasty indeed. I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant for excellent atmosphere and a really good meal.
