Great Zanzibar flavours, at night it is a Zanzibar experience with authentic Zanzibar food and dancing and singing. Great!

Beautiful food in a great location. Had the fish lunch - king fish and fish korma with a range of condiments. May well go back for it again before I leave!

Such a nice spot on the top of an old colonial building.the views of stone town along with the welcome breeze, after a lot of walking in the touristy small streets of drown town ,was a bless!the food also very tasty .the setting by sitting...on Cosy colorful cushions very relaxing!you can also have a look at the very well maintained rooms and the impressive architecture of the building!More

The Tea House on Hurumzi is excellent, that is why we chose it. You have to go early to see the sunset and have a drink. It is a roof restaurant accessed by many stairs so unfortunately not for guests who have a problem with...stairs. The banquet is delicious and presented tastefully and the amount of food is not overwhelming. The menu is explained to you. There is Tanzanian music as well. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant. For $40 it is well worth it.More

For our one night in Stone Town I decided to go for this classic. The evening was very nice, the food was good but the service was a bit off (drink orders took ages, everyone in our area had food but we got ours about...the time they were finished). I also found the reservation procedure quite hassle some for a dinner. It felt very touristy with the music and “show” and also given the priciness of the menu (in particular given the Tanzanian level) I probably wouldn’t go again. The food was great and the view and setting are spectacular. So as always it depends on what you like.More

A superb rooftop setting for an excellent meal. The food was outstanding, the views stunning as the sun set and to cap it off authentic Arabic and Zanzibar music, played live by the director of the music academy. Sadly a predominantly tourist clientele.

I loved this rooftop restaurant! The food was amazing, and the staff were so fun and friendly. The environment is very communal as well — we all became friends!

We had Christmas night on the rooftop with cocktails, sunset and dinner. Followed by Christmas carols performed by a local school.. everything about the rooftop was perfect. Loved every minute of it. Make sure you book in advance! You won’t regret it!
