This was my favorite of all places! The staff was wonderful, the sunset view fantastic and the food was absolutely amazing.

I'd been to the Emerson Spice the evening before and was excited to try the sister hotel experience. There are two areas, the cushions and the tables, while the cushion area has better views, it might not be for everyone because you are almost sitting...More
We had already experienced Emerson Spice, and we liked it. Here the formula is quite analogous, with a fixed menu based this time however more on the traditional Swhaili cuisine. In fact, it gives more space to the color and sounds of the Swhaili tradition,...More
I was completely charmed and delighted by this excellent restaurant. For $30 you get an fabulous multicourse meal that showcases the cuisines of Zanzabar and Swahili culture. There’s live music and singing and a very knowledgeable wait staff that treats you like royalty. You do...More
I would definitely recommend that anyone traveling to Stonetown with the desire for a lovely view and delicious multi-course meal visit the Tea House Restaurant. The view was incredibly breathtaking, overlooking the multi-colored rooftops and ocean. The restaurant was very accommodating to specific food requests,...More

Dear Guest, Our Lunch Menu indeed only has 5 dishes, since it is based on availability of fresh, local produce. The menu changes with the season, depending on availability of the different products in the market. At the moment the chefs are actually reviewing the...More
We stayed 5 nights in Stone Town and ate here twice. We had to come back after the first time. Wonderful food, wonderful people, great atmosphere. They were accommodating without question to our diet on the fixed menu, and the fish was probably the best...More
