This place is something else. You get a big plate covered with ethiopian bread, with different dished on top. The idea is to dip the bread in the sauces. Fun experience and food was well prepared.

I LOVE Ethiopian food, I cannot stress that enough. I eat it so much, I have favorite restaurants all over this world (none of course, that beat restaurants actually in Ethiopia). We went last week; I, a lover of the cuisine and him, new to the cuisine. However, we started it off with layered avocado and mango drinks. I'm not... More

It was my first time to taste an Ethiopian food in this restaurant. The food was so nice, spicy and portion are so big so could not finish all of that. The disadvantage is they dont accept cards payment method in spite of being awarded a certificate of excellence by tripadvisor for 2014 and 2015. No one need to carry... More

Thank god the food was tasty!! Food was interesting and different, in a good way. Really enjoyed the food when eventually served. Took about 1.5 hours for food to arrive and when we (regrettably) ordered dessert it again took over half an hour to serve 2 ice cream scoops. Staff were pretty rude and really didn't seem to want to... More

Injera is made of rice flour at this restaurant and has no taste. Authentic Ethiopian injera is made from teff flour and has a delicious sour taste. I have eaten Ethiopian food in 2 different countries and never found "fake" injera anywhere else.

I could not believe my taste buds and had to go back twice just to make sure that their food is heavenly delicious everyday - I confirm it is ! There is a mint juice that is mind blowing as is the No:2 vegetarian platter of various dishes. This was my first and truly blessed time to eat Ethopian food... More

Slightly out of town, this Ethiopian restaurant is very well done. A lot of care and thought has gone into the presentation, explanation of the food and the lovely garden setting. We had the avocado salad (very tasty) and a beef and chicken curry which was good. I had eaten a lot of Ethiopian in SF/LA and it was as... More

Interesting experience however took 1/2 for a drink and 1 hour for food. They seemed to be short staffed and could not handle the pace. Food tasty and interesting. The only negative about food was you could not chew the lamb very tough. We ordered starters never got them and when we ordered sweets they came back and said sweets... More

First time doe Ethiopian food, will def go home and look for another. Curryish foods in a pancake, no cutlery, was a laugh, and delicious! Coffee and popcorn, divine! Service a little on the rusty side, but ur in Zanzibar...u can't compare everything to ur four star hotel service. Was a lovely meal and eve, would go back tonite! :)
