The restaurant was very crowded, too much noise and disturbances, the staffs were not sharp, it took us 40ms waiting for meal. the guide we had told us that the restaurant is always crowded and too much noise.
It is a must eat at place when visiting Stone town.
Very friendly staff and excellent customer service.
Hot foods served on time.
Refreshing fresh blends of drinks.
A authentic tree inside the restaurant... Mubuyu tree (Baobab)
It is a must eat at...place. Vegetarian and Meat addict are served.
Look for Lukmaan
Me and my girlfriend we had a good time at Lukmaan, the place is well known in stone town, we asked our tax driver the place to get lunch but should be local food he recommended the place, the food was amazing, we tasted Pilau...and sugarcane juice, the price was fair, the staff were very attentive to take our order.More
Lukmaan is the best restaurant if you want to try typical food. There is a big buffet and they explain what is every dish and allow you to mix different foods.
Fresh food, generous portions at a very cheap price.
I can't imagine stown town without this place. Although simple to look at, it's quick and affordable food is tasty and covers many local specialties. This is my go-to when I am hungry in stone town because the variety keeps it interesting.
Our tour guide had suggested this restaurant as serving typical local food.
It was certainly busy with a mixture of locals and tourists
However the service was really poor,it took a long time to order our food and even longer to get it
It was...certainly not worth the wait
We only wanted a snack and had ordered chicken skewers and samosas
Which were cold when we got them and almost inedible
To make matters worse we were overcharged which I didn't dispute as it was a relatively small amount and we just wanted to get outMore
Best restaurant in Zanzibar for local food!
Good value, tasty and wide selections. Friendly and helpful staff.
It was mostly locals eating here, so it felt like an authentic experience away from all the westernized tourist traps.
