Food was cheap here and not bad. Very basic facilities but enjoyed the happy and busy atmosphere. Go with a positive spirit and you will love it. Do NOT get the pizza as is overpriced and extremely small but get an extra smoothie/fruit juices. I...More

During a tour, we stopped in here to grab a bite to eat. The food smelled and tasted amazing, and the smoothies were delicious (but made without ice so that was a slight bummer). The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that...More

This is a diamond in the rough. Beautiful food representing the spices in Zanzibar. Well priced. Speedy customer service. Again the food is authentic.

We were recommended to eat here by a fellow diver when we were diving in Nungwi. Wide range of food and beverages selection, delicious and cheap. The waiter (unfortunately I didn’t ask his name, but he was wearing a black tshirt without Lukmaan label) was...More

We were told it was great, my opinion, not so much. Dirty, crowded, a pretty long wait for our order, and even then it came out piece meal. Mainly for tourist I think. Disappointed in the food.

The food it’s fine, the place it’s always busy...a little bit to noisy for me. The big plus..almost fast food, not the western type, but still you don’t have to wait 2 hours to eat. The rice it’s good and also the fish.

To be clear this is best described as a roadside covered cafeteria with a broad range of curries, rice, kebabs, samosas and breads. Low priced with a good juice bar. There is waiter service but it’s best to look and point. Good place to grab...More

We visited Lukmaan for a midweek lunch and were not disappointed. The food was yummy, tasty, and the small portions made it easy for us to try new things. The vibe is cool and I'd go back for all of the above. The only even...More
