We were taken there by one of the guys who are managing the parking in the old fort, it's a bit tricky to arrive there from the fort as there are a lot of tight streets, but when we finally went up and saw the views we were amazed! Is really nice to just relax there with the soft air... More

Just arrived to Zanzibar and checked in. This is my 3rd trip to this island and I'm already very impressed by what I got. I love big and bright rooms - the room is very big, clean and bright. I love big bathrooms - this bathroom is huge! I love windows in the bathroom - this one has three. There... More

The view from here is great. Pity about slow service (though it was friendly). Food ranged from average to really good. Wide selection on the menu. Nice for sundowners with a view over the city.

View is great, food is shamefull to be served in such a nice place. They seriously need to upgrade the kitchen. Also the order came wrong several times.

Perched high above the tiny alleyways below, overlooking Stone Town's rooftops, the restaurant is ideal for a beautiful sunset. Free wifi, comfortable seating, and service that goes "pole pole" (slowly slowly), you only really come here for a drink or two and the view at sunset. Cocktails are poor, but are decently priced during happy hours. We ordered the prawn... More

We went there for lunch as we wanted to test another roof top terrace restaurant after having had dinner at the Emerson on Hurumzi a few nights before. So unfortunately my review is clouded by my previous experience of the Emerson on Hurumzi and I need to review the Swahili House in the same "Category" of roof top restaurants in... More

Great roof-top patio! We went here because it was recommended by two folks we met on bush plane flights earlier in the week. House wine was on happy hour special, but on the low-end. Food was good, nothing spectacular. Service was slow and intermittent, but we were not in a rush and enjoyed a sundowner before dinner. I think we... More

High above the houses and buildings with a lovely view. Prices are normal like in other restaurants. Though the portions are small. Large menu with lots of seafood. Definitely worth a visit.
