We ate here twice while and it was very good both times. Service was solid and food was prepared very well and tasty. Kitchen is clean and they take measures to make sure the tourist do not get sick.

Not quite sure why people are raving about this place. It's a nice restaurant, right near the beach. The service was attentive and friendly. I thought the food was nice, but not particularly impressive. It was about 30,000 Tanzanian shillings for two drinks, a squid starter to share and two mains, so not bad in terms of price.

The Archipelago is a nice quiet place known for it's sea foods. The setting is very nice with the sea breeze blowing on your face as you dine in there. I went for dinner around 8. I tried their calamari, and it was good. The service is wonderful.

Having not been to Stone Town for 3 years, the first place I went (aside to Forodhani Gardens for my Zanzibari pizza, but didn't happen as no one was around!) I headed straight for where I though Archipelago was, for my "usual" dish --Zanzibari Pueza! Only after I sat down and ordered, did I notice that it wasn't quite the... More

Located around the first building, downstairs, on the beach, next to Fordhani Park. There are signs. This a restaurant that must be visited. They also have nice breakfasts and daily specials. This is a great place to eat at very reasonable prices. The food is delicious and all freshly prepared. Seafood is fresh. Portions are very good and service is... More

Not right on the sea, no spectacular views, but good food at reasonable prices. We had lovely fresh fish - King fish, Swordfish and fresh tuna - perfectly prepared and barbecued. Free WiFi. Does not serve alcohol. I can recommend this establishment for a taste of Zanzibar.

I ordered Prawns they were excellent and well worth the money. Service good and value for money. The restaurant has a reasonable menu choice and sits close to the waters edge.
