Went there for lunch and really enjoyed it. Chicken dinner and pumpkin pie, all the coffee you want - very good. Very nice waitress too. Obviously a place that has a lot of regulars, by which I mean customers as opposed to Ex-lax users 😊

Just beginning a spring road trip in mid-March 2016, my wife and I stopped for lunch at a Northern NY tradition, the Longways Diner in Watertown NY. It was diners choice for immediate seating – we opted for a small booth. Our food orders consisted of toasted cheese (mild cheddar on white) and a patty melt (burger, provolone, grilled onions... Longway's Diner is like a truck stop in the best sense of the word; specials are cooked on site, service is fast and friendly, and the place is clean and comfortable. The soups taste like home-made and the "Carl's Burger" hamburger is huge, fresh, and as good as any burger you'll ever have.

Very good food, friendly staff. Fast service. I'm not sure why they make you type 100 characters, 30 was more than enough.

We've been traveling through New England for the last week and, so far, this is the best breakfast we've had. There were 3 cooks working the grill ensuring our meal was delivered quickly. The eggs were perfectly cooked to order. I like my eggs with a runny yolk but not runny whites. They nailed it. The English muffin was substantial... More

Was staying a hotel directly across the road so while this isn't a place I'd have exited the highway for the convenience made up for my apprehension. i could not have been more wrong with my initial hesitation. Huge portions fast friendly service and everything was delicious. Great way to start off our day. Oh yeah and cheap too.

We went there for a breakfast meeting with a friend. The order was a simple breakfast the result was complicated. We waited at least 10 mins for coffee (anyone who knows when you go for breakfast you want coffee! That made our friendly conversation turn from "what is new" to why is it so slow. I had to ask the... More

After three hours on the road, it is nice to hit Longway's for real food, not drive-in , fast mass produced paper wrapped burgers. Here is home to many locals at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Military are often here any time of day enjoying the home cooking. Breakfast like you would fix at home without having to do the cleanup... More

Breakfast served all day! I've been stopping here for over 15 years when I travel to Syracuse and have yet to be disappointed by the food.

if your looking for good home cookin, reasonable price and a hearty portion in the setting of a old fashioned diner you've found the spot. We stopped here on recommendations and can't believe we've missed this place. The fried chicken is the best we've had, crispy on the outside and juicy tasty on the inside. We stopped in the breakfast... More
