I am very surprised by the comments regarding the welcome given by the servers and the owner. On the contrary, they are there to satisfy customers with culinary suggestions adapted to their desires. The cuisine is good, plentiful and diverse. The products are fresh. I highly recommend this establishment

Good food and tasty cocktails!

We’ve eaten here twice since it was so good and also the service was good and relatively quick. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. We loved the soups, thick and tasty. The main courses were also good. The fun cocktail we enjoyed was a banana (pina) colada i.e. banana instead of pineapple. Also also enjoyed some home made rum flavoured with cinnamon and the other one banana flavoured. The price of the meal was very reasonable for what it was

Great dinner

We had an excellent dinner here. The owner lured us in off the street saying the food was the best in town. We thought we would give this place a shot as we appreciated his confidence. We have to say he was right. We had the chilli chicken which was amazing and the butter chicken, also very good. He makes his own cocktails too. The pina colada was so creamy, I loved it. Also he makes his own chilli which he offered to give me the recipe for if I liked it and sadly I forgot to ask! It’s very good. Give this place a try.

While the daughters and the male staff are courteous, gentle and caring towards customers, the lady in-charge is blunt and impolite. I'll add that her courtesy is reserved for only a section of customers, not for all unlike her male staff and daughters. This is enough to put off people.

Came across this fantastic restaurant while out cycling around the area. It was not right out on the footpath, and had space for us to lock our bikes. In keeping with the temperature of the day, the greeting was very warm and offered a table on edge, which is open to the world. The menu has plenty for all without being huge. As it was only lunch, we chose mains and I have to admit the prawns in garlic could not have been better. Chose the Blu Hawaii cocktail (created by Mahen, the main man there) which should be experienced to be believed. As we were finishing up, Mahen came out to talk to patrons and was very generous with his time and great vibes. When I get back to Mauritius, I will certainly go back to his place.

Nice little restaurant with a large selection of local dishes. Meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan dishes to choose from. The Paneer Makhani is particularly recommended. We ate there several times during our trip and were always impressed. Starters (samosas), various main courses and desserts were super tasty. Reasonable prices. Large portions. Very nice staff. The cocktails are also highly recommended, but strong! ;-) We can recommend the restaurant all around. Thank you for everything!

On a positive note, the restaurant is clean, the food well presented and the staff courteous. The only problem for us was the food. I ordered an Indian curry but it was more Chinese and very sweet. (so much so that I was unable to eat it). My wife's dish was uninspiring and quite bland but at least she managed to finish it. The starters we fine but overall we found it quite expensive for what we had. There are better choices for eating in the town.

Good food and great vibes

My first visit was back in 2018 and the food was amazing. Last night, we chose to eat here again. The ambiance, service and quality of food had not changed! All of our dishes came quickly and were delicious.

Local restaurant with good food and competitive prices. Friendly and cheerful service, up for a joke. I ate fried rice with chicken and egg here. Tasted great and a large portion. All in all a great local restaurant for a quick bite or takeaway.

Low prices for an average meal. Terrible dessert

The server who drew us in is a bit of a wheeler dealer type. We were seated next to some fish tanks, where the fish could barely swim around due to lack of space. The menu was competitively priced compared to some of the overpriced places nearby. Our family got some fish, 2 curries, and some noodles. The meals themselves were decent, nothing to write home about but not bad. The curry could have used more flavour. Overall it was a 4 star experience just due to the average meal and low prices Dessert was terrible though. 175 RS which is super cheap compared to what is around. They came out and we could not even finish them! The creme brulee was clearly premade and microwaved, cold in the middle and no flavour. The tiramisu was just awful, tons of fake creme and no flavour. This is one of the first places in recent memory where we did not finish the desserts The final blow was when we walked a bit further down the road after our meal to a highly rated Italian place and an authentic Mauritian place. Will be back to try those but will likely give this one a miss All in all, not terrible but I can’t say I recommend it unless you are on a strict budget

Really tasty meal, good service and a good price. Close to Trou aux Biches beach. There was an extensive menu and all options looked delicious.

Tasty curry

Tasty prawn and chicken curry for me, husbands spaghetti bolognese wasn’t great but it’s hardly a local dish. Good atmosphere, very attentive service but probably not the best value for money given the tired surroundings.
