This was by far one of the best meals I have ever had! The customer service was amazing we had a wonderful waitress. I had the Veal chop and my husband had the Veal Milanese. Every bite was mouthwatering! We will be back.

My husband and had tickets for a show at the casino and we decided to go to Portico for dinner beforehand. Let me start by saying that when I filled out the reservation online, I had indicated we were celebrating birthdays. We were wished happy...birthday but never were offered a celebratory appetizer, drink, or dessert. Secondly, for the price of the food ($67 for Oz. beef tenderloin oscar with no salad, starch or vegetable), we felt that the quality of the food was good, but not outstanding. The restaurant was not very busy, but the bar service was very slow and the restaurant was very noisy. We had a hard time having a conversation. For the price, you can find restaurants with better quality food and atmosphere.More

Charcuterie board was excellent - octopus and meatball appetizers also well done. My rigatoni carbonara was served in a big mason jar with every layer visible. The waitress shook it up and poured it in my bowl - it was DELICIOUS. And the bread pudding...- recommenced by the chef- was the best I’ve ever had. A great experience all around. Two thumbs up!More

Second trip to Del Lago Casino resort and second time at Portico. Arrived just before the kitchen closed. Except for a loud holiday party group, who thankfully left not long after we arrived, we had the place to ourselves. Danielle, our bartender, was a delight....She was friendly and mixes a great cocktail. The meatball appetizer was a meal. The size of a baseball, this was a meal, made with ricotta, there was no crispy outer shell. It was tender and moist throughout. Best everMore

The four of us ate here to celebrate our birthdays. It was the first time for us. One in our party had special dietary needs for non gluten which were accommodated. Menu is a la carte. Staff was attentive and helpful in suggestions and informing...us on the menu. Everything came in a timely manner and was excellent. Portions were generous. Dessert was wonderful. Would eat here again for a special occasion.More

We attended this resort for a concert. Dinner prior to the show was at Portico. We arrived early and were impressed by the decor, very contemporary. Drinks at the bar was generous and we were told about the the 3 course pre-show menu, which we...chose. Choice of grilled pork belly, a huge meatball and veggies. Entre of small filet, grilled salmon and a veggie entre. Dissertation we saw tiramisu and looked no further. The appetizers were plentiful and very tasty. Meatball was as big as my fist. Both our entries were very tasty, but small. Enough to satisfy and the deserts were tasty. All in all, for the price of $45/person we were pleased. The restaurant is upscale, the service was very good and the food was good. We will go againMore

Never heard of anyone charging such an insane amount for a lobster dinner, let alone a tail addon, probably wouldn’t have been that upset if it was good or if the server mentioned that that was the outrageous “market” price. It tasted like your run...of the mill frozen tail. We got a much better tasting one from an equally upscale restaurant last week for 13, a reasonable add on price. Usually love it here, but service and food very disappointing, while bill incredibly high.More

I took my wife here for the sole reason of using the $100+ I had accumulated on my Del Lagos card. It was well worth the trip, as we were both very impressed with everything in this place. The bread basket contained several different kinds...of breads, and (in addition to the butter) had a really nice spiced tomato dipping sauce that was extremely flavorful. My appetizer (the lobster and avocado salad) was superb, with big chunks of lobster tossed on top. For our main course, we both had the Salmon Puttanesca (spelling), which was served grilled and with a tomato-based sauce with capers, Kalamata olives and anchovies. What a great presentation! My side order of roasted beets, served with mushrooms in a cast iron skillet was fabulous, as was my wife's side of grilled Brussels sprouts. Our waitress (whose name I cannot recall) was very nice and efficient, and made the entire experience a wonderful time. I highly recommend this place for a special occasion anytime.More

After finally making it to this restaurant we were surprised that the food was average at best nothing special. The food wasn’t bad just not worth going back for. It was especially disappointing since supposedly there were no other available reservation times so we had...to take a 4:30 which was a little early and the restaurant was empty and was still empty when we left. The service was excellent. It was the food I had a problem with don’t sell yourself as a high quality high end restaurant and then serve mediocre quality food you have to do better than that.More
