Lunched with friends on a beautiful afternoon. There are outdoor tables with umbrellas and more tables under an awning. All were separated and we felt very safe and happy. This was our first outing together since the pandemic began. It was so nice to be...able to sit outside and enjoy some food and wine. We sipped procecco and then ordered some sandwiches and a Cobb Salad. A couple of boats went by on the Canal and we saw some marsh birds. A perfect visit!More

Excellent service and food. It was a fairly quiet Wednesday evening with not a lot of people in the restaurant. The server was attentive and made sure that everyone was comfortable and provided great service. Everyone at our table enjoyed their entrees and appetizers.

Dinner table needed something outta this world to complete the full effect. If you're ever in this situation make sure you order yourself some outstanding AV greens! They're so creamy. Perfectly seasoned. You won't be able to put your fork down. I will only eat greens...from here. Any other place the portion size is way too small and they always miss their mark.. I love the food. And the staff. Just as much as I love the warm and welcoming environment!More

From the dark wood and brick interiors to the gregarious service to the seriously italian menu, this is about as old-school as it gets. Everything was very good, but the shrimp and crab bisque, served with a big crab cake and surprisingly spicy, was fantastic!...Drinks are strong, wine prices are low, and the well focused menu was worth the drive from Syracuse.More

Great service, very good food. It was cold in the downstairs dining area. Need to crank up the temp.

We opted for a restaurant close to our hotel, but with a bit if flair. Great location, service and nice menu!

Very nice menu - great choices. Tables are close together so you can hear other table conversations better than your own table. But I guess that's how it is at most restaurants these days. So I give the ambiance a 3 on the 10 scale.The...food is an 8 or 9. The portions are generous and the wait staff is so busy that you wait more than you should have to.More

I lived in the city long ago...............for those of you who know, back in the day, who would have thought of eating at a nice restaurant on the Barge Canal ? Not many. Ambiance was remarkable, food was good, along with the service.

Attended a rehearsal dinner event here - and my wife and I were very pleased with the food and service - and specially appreciated the view. I decided to take a peek around the restaurant - and was very impressed. The regular dining room also...has a good view - and extends outside to several tables for al fresco dining with some accommodation for enjoying the seats even when the temperature drops.More

Casual Dress (Jacket/NoTie) is more than enough. Many events there are even more casual. Enjoy this great place!
