My husband and I have been to many other BBQ restaurants in the Buffalo area and none compare! Seriously! Everything from the atmosphere, menu options, portion size and wait staff was great! Between the two of us we had ribs, shrimp and pulled pork-each delicious. And the sweet potato fries are yummy! Don't hesitate... give it a try!

The pork belly tacos were the best thing I tried, but it did not wow me. I also had the BBQ chicken, shrimp kabobs, potatoes, and mac&cheese. The BBQ chicken Was under seasoned and the skin was soggy. The shrimp had a clear color - no grill marks (although it was "grilled") and it was tasteless. The potatoes needed butter... More

I was not happy with the menu options. They force you to take fries with your sandwich and do not allow substitutes but you are free to purchase others (like beans or cole slaw). I didn't like that. Offer a substitute even if you surcharge but don't force people to take your fries (even though they were good). They also... More

My wife and I split a full rack of ribs and 2 sides that came with it. Very nice smokey flavor thru out the ribs and a nice tangy spicy sweet sauce. Baked beans with collard greens were perfect and the mac-n-cheese was good too. We loved the corn bread. Sit on the deck out back and you can watch... More

I went for lunch with my husband, daughter and inlaws and had a wonderful lunch experience. The wait staff was friendly, accommodating and timely and the food was delicious!!! The only issue I had was the server was wearing a black tank top without a bra. It was very unprofessional and low class.

It's hidden behind a big ugly beer store and across from the big Walgreen's and its parking lot. Pass through a dark bar area (no AC) and the terrace overlooks a side channel of the Erie Canal. Local duo was playing. Food was like other BBQs - greasy salty fun stuff. Price is reasonable, sauces limited. Service is excellent by... More

We take our boat out on Tonawanda Creek. We have stopped three times at Smoke on the Water for fantastic barbecue. The portions are more than generous and the prices are very reasonable. There is both inside and outside seating. The half chicken and the pulled pork are to die for as are the sweet potato fries. Next time we... More

This restaurant sits on a busy corner in Tonawanda and has the worst parking lot but the food and service were very good. The exterior is no indication of how large the restaurant is. A good sized deck overlooks the creek and there is indoor dining space. The menu is not huge but more than enough for BBQ fans. We... More

Description
The chefs and owners of Torches Restaurant have now opened a new BBQ place right on Ellicott Creek, in the City of Tonawanda. They use homemade rubs, a water churned smoker they builit themselves, and plenty of inovative recipes. JJ and Kevin Richert , Owners and Executive Chefs of Torches Restaurant on Kenmore Ave. in Buffalo, and their creative brother, Mark Richert, are the creators, owners and chefs. There is outdoor seating on the 2 story deck, tables inside, along with a one of a kind bar. All food is of exceptional quality!!!!!
